TNW 42133 Elegance 1050 TV Cabinet - Oak

The finished item looks really nice and there is plenty of room for cable boxes, DVD players etc,. It is well-designed so that all the wiring is tucked away out of sight. The smoked glass top and drawer front look very classy. The only drawback is that it is difficult to put together. The instructions take the form of diagrams, and the parts are not numbered. The main problem, though, is that the instructions for slotting the metal rods through each corner make it simply impossible to do. We finally worked out our own way of doing it and it was OK, but only after 40 minutes of struggling to follow the instructions. Some simple plastic tubing through each corner would have avoided this problem, and some decent, intelligible instructions would have helped. However, it was worth the effort in the end.

Unit looks very good once assembled but a warning to others. If you have a surround sound system you want to put behind the lower door then leave the back off. There is simply not enough room to run all the cables for speakers, tv, dvd, games player, etc.The door hinges are just not the right type as they are to big and project too far into the unit making any av or hifi amp being pushed too far back. Hence leave off the back. This also makes for easier access for wiring up.

Great product, looks great.The space between the glass top and main shelf is sufficient to fit a good sized sony surround sound amp, but it would not fit behind the glass panel door spaceA word of warning though, be careful when opening the package and removing the front panel. The glass is not secure! I had a panic when the glass started to fall out. I was able to secure it before any major damage or issues were caused

Nice cabinet but unfortunately one of the struts on the door was faulty. Contacted company on numerous occasions and was told more than once that a replacement was sent, after an £8 phone call nothing. So I have given up now. Poor customer service.
