Works well and stable . Easy to install.
*First impression I just got the modem the other day and it was an easy fix. Moreover the seller even sent me a 30gb SMARTY simcard, which I immediately upgraded to unlimited for £20 pcm. My connection is much better than the mobile 4G, which these days can barely open an app.Since I live close to the sea, I'm only getting a couple of MB dwd, but it's enough to work from home, until I get fiber installed.Very satisfied with the product and quick delivery service.**3day-use update: Suddenly the router starts to turn off every now and then. Now I`m not sure what the reason is, but I`ll give it the benefit of the doubt, and believe it`s because of the ISP...for now.

Great if you want internet while on the go.
I had 2 of these branded with a network, but they both decided to stop working when I changed provider (not locked so do not know what went wrong), so I bought this one. Worked straight out of the box and is very reliable for use as my only internet connection at home (no fixed connection available). My only complaint is that even though plugged in all the time it sporadically decides the battery needs charging, and takes ages - but still works throughout so not a problem.I have TV, laptop, phone, tablet and Echo Dot all connected to it and easy to set up.

Love this easy to use dongle - got one for a friend too!
I ordered one of these for myself and used the free sim card that came with the product. All is going very well and I have had no issues whatsover. I am traveling abroad soon and will try it with a different sim for that area. I also ordered one for my friend. So this one is for my friend who is traveling abroad soon as well. Will leave more feedback after using an international sim card. so watch this space...

Useful device BUT took a whole day to configure for roaming (read on for instructions)
Worked immediately in the UK - fast browsing, no setup required other than setting up your SIM (a separate issue), no probs so far. The big problem with this device is that it is a black box - with no user manual of any value, just a product description. If you need to do anything slightly out of the ordinary (like roaming) there are some things you need to know. Firstly, out of the box, it does not do roaming. It is disabled. If you're a power user or someone used to configuring routers (there are a few oddbods out there) you will know what to do. If not, like us, it will take you a day or two to learn the following crucial facts: data roaming must be set up separately on this box; to do this you need to first connect your device (phone, tablet, whatever) to it via wifi (the password is hidden inside the battery compartment). Then go to the router's webpage (this is not documented anywhere) in a browser - to do this, type it's IP address (e.g. 192.something.something.something) into the browser's address bar on your device, and up pops a login page. Good luck with guessing the password. It is either 'admin' or it is the same number as your wifi password (hidden in the battery compartment, remember). Follow the instructions. At the end you'll find yourself on a page showing the box's mobile and wifi connections. On there it will say "Data connections are disabled when roaming. Please enable data roaming". This may confuse you as a) you will probably already have configured your SIM card for roaming; b) there is no clue as to how to enable data roaming. The trick is to ignore the obvious button below and click on the message itself. This leads you through more screens where you can enable data roaming. Finally you are there. Hopefully this will save you the full day that we spent browsing for info on this disgracefully ill-documented product.

Sadly disappointed so far
I have owned and loved a few Huawei mi-fi routers but this one has disappointed me. The battery is constantly charging and doesnt seem to get above 95% charged. I bought it for my elderly mother to use in her small apartment so hope it will suffice for now as it will be plugged in all the time. Speeds seem to be really slow as well. May have to return for a refund if it doesn't improve performance

Used it to get my nan online
This is a great little device to help get my nan on the internet. She panics easily about engineers in her flat so this was a great way to self install for her without the need for engineers.Simply pop in the simcard (We went with smarty, based off of the three network) the simcard was already inside the box on arrival. She has it paired with her amazon fire 7 tablet and uses it to video call via whats app (Sideloaded).
