Perfect!
These Galápagos Sheets of Real Moss are absolutely perfect for my garden snails. The color is vibrant and natural, adding a beautiful green look to their enclosure. The moss arrived in great condition, was easy to place, and holds moisture well, which my snails love. It feels high quality and safe, and it instantly made the habitat look more natural and healthy. My snails were exploring it right away. Highly recommend for snail habitats or any natural terrarium setup! 🐌🌿

Really pretty moss, and it is still alive!
I got this for my daughter's and my plant vivarium, because our plants require a more humid environment and we were having to water way too much because the vivarium was drying out too quickly. We chose this moss for the texture and the color. It's slightly less green than the product images show, but it still looks nice. We followed the instructions on the package and soaked it in distilled water before putting it in the vivarium, and as the packaging states, the moss did come back to life (it's in a dormant state when dried but with the right conditions it comes out of dormancy. We keep it moist but not sopping wet and it is thriving. One note, when we first put this moss in the vivarium, after a few days we noticed white mold growing. I freaked out a little at first, but after doing a little research, I found out that a mold bloom is common when adding more moisture into an environment, because mold spores are pretty much everywhere, and it will eventually settle itself down. You can settle it down faster by adding springtails, which are tiny isopods that basically are like a cleaning crew, or by disrupting the mold patches by breaking them up (wiping it down or using a little vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or peroxide). I just physically broke up whatever mold patches I saw because I didn't want to harm the moss with alcohol or peroxide, and the mold did go away.

Frog terrarium approved
We used this in my son’s white tree frog terrarium and it is good value and durability for the price. It has nice coloring as well which is a bonus but appreciated.

These are great and help keep a potted plan hydrated.
These are great. I use them to make potted plants look a little nicer with some green on top of the soil.

Beautiful Natural Moss, Great for Kokedama!
I used this moss for making kokedama and it looks great—lush green and natural texture. You get quite a bit for the price (8-quart bag), and it arrived well-packed and not overly dry. Tip: Mist it lightly before use to revive the color even more.

Smells really bad.
There is a nice amount of moss in the bag. My problem with it was the smell. Even after rinsing it off it still smells like chemicals or something moldy. It's bad... It could be the dye or possibly was damp when bagged up. Not sure. Maybe I got a bad batch because other reviews say it smells good.

The package comes with quite a bit. In a very humid vivarium, the moss will quickly lose its green colour after a day or so. This is probably better for a terrarium with only slight humidity. Frog moss comes with a lot less, looks better, and does better in very humid vivariums. Picture Below: This was taken a week after both mosses were put in the vivarium. The moss on the left is the sheet moss, and the moss on the right is the frog moss. This is in a very wet vivarium.
