Awesome camera
After our old stealth cam no longer worked (after about 7 yrs), we decided to get another one. After checking around, we decided on this one. It's smaller than our older one, less bulky and less heavy than the older one. This camera takes color shots by day and infrared shots by night. It can also take a burst of pics. We have it set on the highest level of burst shots which is 6 for this camera. (When I bought this, the description said 9, but it's not, it's 6, at least for ours.) You can customized what you want a little bit with this camera with the custom setting. The color pics are marvelous! I am so impressed! The infrared photos are just as great! And with the burst shots, you get to see more of what's happening outside as they take them consecutively. We found this camera very easy to use and figure out. We've had the camera for over a month and the batteries are still showing a full charge. We set the camera up in our yard so it takes constant pics. We clear the card every week. We've had almost a thousand pics taken and the batteries are holding up way, way better than I thought they would. We put in a 16 GB card. At one time, it's held over 450 pics without being close to full.We set the setting for images on mid level. Wanted to see how good the pics were and we are extremely pleased with how well they come out.We have not tried the video setting yet. It can take up to a 15 second video I think. Once we try it, we'll let you know how it works. It also comes with a pretty big strap so you can attach it to trees or whatever. We used it once, it worked well. But we decided on putting the camera on a tripod instead so we could move it around the yard without too much hassle. We are going to buy a couple more of these to put around the house as security cameras. With the SD card, there's no having to deal with wires, computers or wireless that you have to deal with for normal security cameras.I would for sure recommend this camera. The price is very reasonable for this great camera.

Really good product
I got this camera to record animal intruders in our yard at night. I put it on a tree in our back yard, made the settings, but discovered I'd mounted it too high because passing vehicles on the street in front will trigger it. Quite frankly, I'm impressed with it. Video is clear and works well day or night. Daylight color is impressive. The only change I'd make is to add a nighttime-only mode. The case is quite durable, as is the strap. The front opens and locks wide open so as not to interfere with what you're doing. It also closes positively with two locking clips and a provision for your own personal lock.Update 8/6/15: I ended up shortening the strap quite a bit as there is nothing in my yard anywhere near the circumference that strap can handle. My camera indicated battery pack at half power when, in fact, they were completely drained. Remember to reset the date and time when you replace the batteries. Don't use this indoors if you're trying to film outdoors at night; the glare from the glass blinds the sensor. Still great value for the money.

WOW!! Bought 18 loving it.
The Purchase: I love my Stealth Cam's. Me and a few buddies went in and bought 18! Some for us and some for gifts. They must have been one in every DC or something because they delivered in 18 individual boxes. Stacked UP on the porch when I got home. All delivered together and FAST-2 days. Some came in packed in a regular retail plastic like you see at the store and others came packed in that same plastic and then in an additional box- then packed in Amazon box. The retail plastic casing that it comes in at the stores was cut on one side so having dealt with Stealth Cam before I called Customer Service to ask "Whats up?". They said that it is fine and came in a TWO pack plastic and that plastic packaging was split and then boxed up. I don't care about packaging myself, they could send without packaging all together as far as I care. I am buying the product which is one reason WHY Amazon is usually cheaper. You are not buying all the packaging and retail space and such right?? All good. The Product: I have the Stealth Cam P18 Camo I wrote about and MANY other cams. For the price we did not know what to expect. 6 megapixel, varied video and pics options with EASY presets or custom set up. No sound, you have to buy the higher versions to get sound but for what I am using it for and what I am hunting I don't need it. Like my other review on the P18, easy to set up, works like a charm, great pics, great batt life, awesome trigger speed and works like a charm. Been out in the field and catching shots. I guess the price of technology is coming down or Amazon is getting good deals because you can beat this for the $ !! For people NEW into trail cam and scouting I would advise reading about how to properly place cams to catch optimal view. The improper placement in the sun kills shots, how you angle down a trail or the space you are trying to capture is important also. Make sure you place it to where you feel the object you are trying to capture has the MOST time in the field of view. Don't set on a trail horizontally where the game has 2 seconds of view time as it walks by and blame your cams. The trigger speeds are usually sub 1 to 1 second. Set at a position where the object triggers and stays in the field of view for the longest time possible so that you get the best pics/vids of what you are scouting.

For the price, you cannot go wrong with this gem.
You might think 5 star rating is a little high, but I have to stick to that rating and here's why. It works and it is inexpensive. The green light to tell you if you are in range or not is fantastic. My other cam, I have to take the card out and check if there is any picture. Easy to setup, doesn't kill batteries and takes pictures of games. First time I set it up, I had 0 animals on it. A small change in the orientation and the next time, games on 90 % of the shots. I really enjoy this one. I bring a small Canon camera to check the card so I can tell immediately if it is the right spot or not. I once read an article about better get more cams than one expensive one. I totally agree with that.

The stealth cam has great range and takes great video and pics
We have another trail camera and we needed to upgrade. The stealth cam has great range and takes great video and pics. Also love the test options and super easy to use. My only critic would be the strap, I'd rather have a snap at the end.

Takes not bad photos. Basic camera
Meh. Takes not bad photos. Basic camera. Nothing special. Have other models which prefer for example not having the screen is a little annoying. But for the price im happy with the product.
