Outdoor Research Men's Revel Jacket

Purchased a few yrs ago, had it on once in dry warm weather, was uncomfortable (clammy feeling against bare arms) because jacket does not breath well, hanging in closet since. Very light rain & cold a couple of days ago, perfect for this Jacket and a baseball cap. Had it over an ultra light down jacket, when I reached my destination approx. 2 miles away (35min walk), took it off and the exterior of my down jacket was damp. Very disappointed, garment seem well made with quality material.

The zippers are very good, unlike those on Marmot rain jackets that I've owned. I was warned from a review on an outdoor products site that the front and pit zipper pull tabs, resembling small stones, are somewhat abrasive; the side ones could damage the jacket fabric . I wrapped them all in duct tape and have had no issues. The shaped pulls themselves are easier to grab than standard zipper tabs.

I worn this Outdoor Research in rainy days and felt very comfortable. This jacket has good breathable rate and does not make you in a sweat.

My husband really likes this jacket. He purchased it for our mountain hikes and it folds up into his pack very nicely.

Pretty much the best parka out there. Right length, hood tucks away clean and easy, fabric is soft without being lifeless, yes it's waterproof, and it looks good on. Hubby owns two of these and I own 4 of the women's version (Reflexa jacket). Highly recommended. Can't say enough good things about it.

A very high quality, light rain jacket. Fits perfectly. My son loves it.
