6.5hp Max
I was using 13hp engine with gear ratio 1:12.5What can I say, it took no more then 5 minutes on flat road before the clutch got toasted.I knew this is not a strong clutch, so prior to installation I change the gear ratio from 1:9 to 1:12.5 to make sure that the clutch can handle it easily. What I was thinking to myself...Torque converter 40 series is the ONLY way to go, it's pricey, but worth it!This centrifugal clutch can probably handle no more then 6.5hp engine.

not a good product
i put it on my 7hp engine on my go kart and it burned up on the first run with it. at take off it wouldnt move, just slipped. gave it a push to get some momentum up and it grabbed a little and moved but got so hot it melted the crankshaft seal and started smoking, i parked it and let it cool off and the clutch was siezed up. waste of money do buy this ...

burned up in 40-50 feet / 8hp motor on a go-kart!!
This clutch burned up as soon as I installed it. 11 year old made it maybe 50 feet on an average go-kart with an 8hp stock motor. Hopefully returning it and getting as much of my money back as possible wont be a huge hastle.

Don't buy for 13hp for sure
I say its junk. Put it on my 200s 3 wheeler with a 13hp honda and it wouldn't even move it. Just sat there and went up in smoke
