The cars are pure plastic and the carpet will easily wear out, but for the price, I'm very happy. The cars are actually very strong considering that they are made of plastic only. Great value for money!

Nice detailing on the road mat/map, lovely big size so that small children have room to play without too much squashing of each other! As others have said the little vehicles are plastic, so they aren't going to last forever, but are the perfect size for the roads on the mat. Good variety of vehicles too. I had to let the mat settle as the folding does cause some rippling, as it is fabric based rather than a heavy rubber mat, but I knew that from the description so was able to unfold it and leave it in a warm room to settle. Good value and quick deliver. Thank you.

The mat is great-the pictures are bright and clear.The cars are utterly awful.I read the reviews before buying the mat so I expected poor quality (I was only interested in the mat anyway) but the little cars are even more shocking than I had anticipated.I swear one of them fell apart in front of my eyes seconds after being taken out of the box.The cars are plastic,very light and flimsy.

It does the job

Not amazing. The road details arnt great just sort of repeats around a central bit. And the buildings cover a lot of the roads which really seems to annoy our 2 year old. Should just be a bird's-eye view so its better to actually play on. The bag of cars you get with it are just cheap plastic and dont roll well but as a freebie you can't complain really. Lot of down sides to this but as far as amazon goes its the best for the price on here. Has inspired me to just do his whole room with a carpet of this style but better.

The play mat looks fine , but I was very disappointed with the cars that came with it.They are poor quality, small and quite a few of them were repeats .Not happy with them at all .
