FITINDEX Smart Bluetooth Body Fat Scale with Upgraded App, High Precision Bathroom Scales Digital Weight and Body Fat Body Composition Monitor, 396lb/180kg, Black

I purchased the FITINDEX Smart Body Fat Scale BMI Scale Bathroom Digital Weight Wireless Scale so that I could conveniently keep track of my weight, BMI and other body composition metrics. I received the scale within two days of ordering and it came well-packaged with the scale, batteries, and a small instruction pamphlet included in the box. There was also an insert from the seller to contact them if there were any issues or questions which I thought was a nice gesture in providing excellent customer service to the purchaser.The scale is made mostly of glass and is smaller than I expected. I inserted the batteries, which was all I really needed to do to get the scale up and ready to use. I also downloaded the FITINDEX app to my iPhone and followed the instructions in the pamphlet on how to pair the scale with the FITINDEX app. It was fairly easy to do except for one thing that may be confusing in that the instruction pamphlet instructs you to select device ES-26M, but the actual device that appears to be synching with the app is FT-24D. Not a real problem for me as I selected the FT-24D device and it paired as expected.The app is really cool in that it receives data from the scale and keeps track of not only my weight and BMI, but also body fat, fat-free body weight, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, body water, skeletal muscle, muscle mass, bone mass, protein, BMR, and metabolic age. There is some set-up in the app that requires that you enter your name, birthday, height, and gender, and also an option to create a FITINDEX account. You can also turn on “athlete mode” if you want to which the app says is “suitable for people who have long been engaged in physical exercise or who regularly exercise.” Evidently "athlete mode" adjusts the calculations for those who exercise regularly to get a more accurate reading.After setting everything up in the app, I stepped on the scale with bare feet as instructed, making sure that my two feet covered the four metal contacts on the scale which evidently take the measurement from the scale and transmit them to the app. It took about five to ten seconds for the app to take the readings and it was actually pretty neat to see all of the metrics updated in the app when it was finished. I have included a screen shot of the app to show how it looks as well as a few other photos of the scale. My weight reading was spot-on and I am scheduled for a complete physical in a few weeks so I am excited to match the readings of the metrics in the app to the readings from my physical to see how they compare.All in all I really like the scale and app and I am very happy with my purchase. I researched many other “smart scales” sold by Amazon and after everything I read about all of them with their reviews I chose this FITINDEX scale and I am very happy that I did. It is well designed, well built, looks nice aesthetically, and comes with a very useful app to keep track of all your measurements so you can set goals and see your progress. If you are looking for a good inexpensive scale to keep track of you measurements that syncs with you phone, you won't be disappointed with the FITINDEX Smart Body Fat Scale BMI Scale Bathroom Digital Scale.

I’ve really been focusing on my weight training since last year, and this scale has been pretty instrumental in helping me reach my goals. I’ve been using the scale mainly to track changes in my weight along with the body fat measurement, but the other metrics are great to have to reference as well (water %, muscle mass, etc.) I’ve also had the DEXA scan done, and this scale was pretty darn close in numbers.The app is very easy to set up and use, and over time allows you to see the trends for multiple metrics. It definitely helps keep me motivated when I can look and see the weight graph decline over time. It also syncs seamlessly with the Apple Health app in case you reference that dashboard/app more frequently.I believe someone had mentioned it before, but the only recommendation I have within the app is to add a daily notes section, just in case you want to track refeeds and be able to monitor how that affects your weight etc. It would be very helpful, and also prevent the user from getting discouraged because they could remember that on that day they had a big meal or carbo loaded.The scale is also the perfect size, doesn’t take up a lot of space, and doesn’t weigh much at all. Great scale for the price!I’ve bought other body fat scales before, but with the app integration, this scale is just what I needed to keep myself accountable and going strong!

I still use this and it works well for it does. It probably could morph into a fitness tracker app.

The media could not be loaded. I actually like the scale a lot. I recently got a full body index with my nutritionist and learned about the makeup of my weight. How much fat, muscle and water I had. This is allowing me to focus on fat loss vs. weight loss. This scale helps you identify similar information. The readings were similar, but are only based on the electrodes touching your feet. The scale works great, the bluetooth is a little wacky. But to be fair, I think it's my phone. My wife has no problem with the scale using her iPhone, I am using a Moto G7. You get a lot of information from the scale, you just have to learn what each icon or reading means. Other than that, it works great and does support my 317lb weight. Remember to use it on the ground and not a rug. I seen reviews where people have the scale on a rug and expect it to give them an accurate reading. I recommend the device. If your bluetooth acts up, I restart my phone, no issues.

I have a large doctors scale already and got this to take up less space and use this for tracking over time if found accurate. I weighed on both scales and were very close to each other over several days worth of weighing. My wife is using it also and we both like it more than the doctors scale.I installed the app which was simple and registered myself and my wife on her phone. As either one steps on the scale, it quickly connects and registers weights and all of the other info into the records. I pairs in a matter of a second or two with no difficulty at all. Even the first time, it connected to my phone very quick and easy with no issue what so ever. It is super light weight and easy to move around if needed. So long to the old doctors scale that I have used for years in my bathroom and took up so much more space. No more recording on the spiral tablet each weigh in with date and time. This does it all automatically and the price is cheap compared to other scales that do much less. I don't think you could go wrong buying this scale for accuracy and easy pairing with my phone.
