This catch bottle is the Thing for bleeding your brakes
Fast shipping. The catch bottle works and performs as advertised. There is no suction so left that blank. This works in conjunction with the pressure bottle that you connect to the master cylinder. What I do is suction out the old fluid with a turkey baster or something like that. Then fill it with new fluid, in my case DOT 4, for my BMW i3, then screw down the cap of the pressure bottle on the master cylinder. Attach the Catch bottle to the brake cylinder that is located on the right rear. The one that is the greatest distance from the Master Cylinder.Pressure the system with the pressure bottle to about 10 pounds maybe 12 on the gauge, course again make sure your master cylinder is full of the required brake fluid for your vehicle. (If you want to know what the pressure bottle looks like, just check Motive products.)Go to the right rear cylinder and using a wrench that fits the bleeder valve just crack it open to where you see fluid running into your catch bottle, course you did attach the rubber hose didn't you LOLYou will probably see yellow looking fluid coming from the lines and maybe a few bubbles.Tighten up the valve, and go check the level of fluid in the Master Cylinder, DON'T ALLOW IT TO RUN DRY.If more fluid is required release the pressure on the system and refill the Master Cylinder. CAREFUL, make sure the pressure is released or fluid may spray out, if brake fluid gets on your paint, it will destroy it, and its not very helpful for your either LOL.Once you see new fluid coming from the Right Rear Tighten that bleeder valve and proceed to the left rear, then the right front, and finally the left front. Course these instructions are for Master Cylinders located on the left side, drivers side of the car, they normally are.Its a pretty simple job and saves you a couple of hundred bucks.

Review
A must have when doing a brake job. Makes bleeding brakes and complete brake fluid exchanges a real breeze. With this tool a two person job becomes a one person job. Saves time. Would buy again. Highly recommend.

Nice bottle for replacing brake fluid.
It's a plastic bottle with a plastic hose and a wire collar. Why does it cost so much? No idea. Yep it works well. One small complaint is the plastic hose that connects to the nipple seems to be a little large, if you don't hold onto the hose, it easily slips off the nipple .Other than that it works as expected. As for the wire I wrapped it around the lug nuts a few time and place the hoop over one of the lugs and it seems to stay in place so you can use your hands for the wrench and hose.

Motive brake fluid catch bottles X2
It works very good, I would Recomend whoever need to bleed your brake fluid. It was a little pricy for a couple of plastic bottles but gets the job done right.

Well worth the money.
Bought the "Kit" that contains two bottles. Very glad I did. Just finished doing a complete flush of the brake lines on a 25 year old car and these were the second-best purchase I made to help make the job manageable. (The first was the Power Bleeder and appropriate reservoir cap, also from Motive). These catch bottles have a very nice conforming hose that was easy to push onto the bleeder valve and stayed on without any special attention other than watching it to be sure. The hose was clear enough to see any bubbles, and the bottle is clear enough too. See photos. The really nice thing about having the two bottles was that when it looked like all the old fluid had been flushed from a line, I could unscrew the bottle and put the other one on to capture the tail-end of the fluid. Then I could check the fluid color and particles to see that the purge was good. The air vent on the bottle is also convenient for holding the end of the hose once you're done with a wheel (and seals it off so it doesn't spill - unless you're rough with it of course). They may seem a bit pricey, but they are well worth it !
