Wooden Prayer Cube Bedtime Prayers for Children and Families

My daughter loved getting this in her Easter basket. Very well made and we use it nightly.

A nice way to pray before bed with my kids. I do like the change in the "now I lay me down to sleep" prayer from what I learned as a child.

Such a fun, sweet idea for bedtime prayer. I purchased this as part of a baptism gift for my goddaughter and thought it will be perfect to establish a sweet bedtime tradition for her and her big brother. Here’s a photo of my 5-year-old holding it for size reference. I think it’s an excellent size to hold by little hands and can sit perfectly perched on a bedside table so it’s always in reach. Only improvement I would suggest is that it would be wonderful if it came packaged ready to gift in a little box or with a sweet hang tag or something. It only came in a plastic baggie so I’ll just be repackaging it into something more giftable. Beautiful little concept!

I was disappointed that the revised prayer in the photo was not on the cube. I don't like the prayer that says "if I die before I wake". Unfortunately that is the one on the cube.

I really like the color and the writing on it. I just thought it was going to be bigger so was a little surprised by that but that would be on me as I should have looked at the dimensions...

This little cube has five prayers, and rewords some to be more benign. For example, "Now I lay me down to sleep," does not end with the Lord taking the soul of a child who dies in his or her sleep. (If I should die before I wake....."I am using it as an extra for an older sibling at a time of the Christening of his baby brother. Hope he likes it. Not yet given.
