Good Price and better taste
Great value for the price. Taste is good and better than expected for the price. Is it the best caviar ever.........no but the price would tell you this if you are realistic with yourself. Shipping was fast and packaging undamaged. Overall a great experience.

So GOOD !
After gifting my family caviar for Christmas 2025, I made this order just for me. Super happy with the luxury caviar and it's so worth it. 3 jars and all of it for me. Enjoy it often.

A budget introduction to caviar.
True caviar comes from sturgeon, but lumpfish roe is the cheapest introduction ($10/oz vs $150+/oz), and a way to hone your palate for the good stuff and to learn to handle the eggs gently. This product is saltier than I care for, but it's a simple matter to put the roe in a strainer and rinse it under cold water. Not a great choice for classic caviar canapes, but good enough for folding into yogurt or sour cream for a dip, or adding to eggs or other dishes that will absorb the saltiness. Try with sushi and sashimi, whipped, baked, or roast potatoes, or to dress up an avocado salad. Fresh lemon or lime juice also refreshes the preserved taste that can develop. Roe/caviar should smell like the ocean, not like fish.I have used this brand for decades, and the quality is consistent. My most recent shipment arrived intact, with no leakage.

EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
I have been searching everywhere for the brand and kind of Caviar I used to get at Kroger for CHEAP (like $4 for these 2oz containers) and couldn’t find anything but the seaweed caviar… which is gross! Not sure why they pulled the Lumpfish caviar and Romanoff brand off the shelves, but i am so grateful to have found this on Amazon. I bought it because it looked familiar and was an affordable option if it turns out it wasn’t the right one. It turns out it is the correct one and I plan to order more. The caviar is not too salty or fishy. I eat it straight out of the jar. The only negative I would give it is packaging (came in white bag as pictured). Definitely could be wrapped better to ensure people don’t receive damaged products. Luckily mine wasn’t damaged.

Late/Old
This is usually a great brand and inexpensive. All 3 jars had dried scum all over them. And the caviaar was old and completely off color from the true black that I normally get with this brand. I tried to return them unopened. And they would not take the return. We then opened them up. No off smell just bright purple like there was dye in them.

Cheap but the 200.00 caviar makes it taste great.
Cheap price. Great with New Years champagne.

Great value and clean taste
My multiple-generational family all eat caviar our for breakfast on six holiday mornings for generations. I have tried much more expensive caviar over the years. ALL family members demand that we use only this brand because of consistent texture, taste, and quality.

Great Caviar, Low Price
Great Caviar. I slice hard cooked eggs, put them on bread smeared with mayonnaise and top the sliced eggs with the caviar.
