I loved this until I washed it. I washed it in cold water on my hand wash cycle, according to directions and dried it on gentle heat. I was disappointed because the red color ran to the white side of the throw.I've now washed it three times (see photo) and have also used three Carbona Color Grabers which are supposed to prevent color run. Unfortunately I am unable to remove the red color completely from the white side.

I searched for "softest blanket ever" in the Amazon search box to see what would come up, and this one did. It was on sale, so I figured sure, let's try it out. Amazon wasn't kidding. This blanket is so, SO soft. Definitely the softest blanket I've ever had. It's like a baby blanket. It's so warm and pleasant to snuggle with in bed.

I bought these for use in our RV-Living Quarters Horse Trailer. They are wonderful. My family fights over who gets these blankets when we go camping. Even the dog loves them. They hold up well to washing and don't lose softness when washed. They are perfect warmth and weight, and ultra soft and luxurious! And they look nice too. I am ordering more to give as gifts. And also some for my family. We LOVE this blanket!

Yes, it’s very lightweight because it’s very thin and not at all what I expected. I chose this one due to all the good reviews but now I know why there’s so many photos with animals using it. I got a much better quality throw at Walmart and I expected more from this “blanket” It’s very soft, which I love but its far too thin. I’m afraid to ever wash it. Disappointed for the price it was and amhoping to help at least one person since there’s so many rave reviews. I should’ve stuck with my first choiceUpdate. It’s already starting to look matted. I got a throw from Walmart that I’ve had for months and its starting to look that way as wellbut it’s soft and thick still and it was far cheaper.Update: The seams are already coming apart and I take good care of it. I’ve only had it a few weeks. Very disappointed. Did I mention it’s not actually purple? It’s burgundy.

Love this soft, gorgeous throw; it is lightweight but warm, washes like a dream and comes out of the dryer even softer than it went in. I plan to buy some for Christmas gifts and another for myself in a different color.

Bought this throw for my stepmother for when she starts her chemo sessions. I chose her favorite color, purple. All I can say, it's amazingly soft the color is vibrant and made well and is machine washable which is a plus. The reason why I chose this one is because I want her be comfy while she goes thru her chemo treatments. She could not believe how soft it was and it's the perfect size. She said, she will be wrapped in love during her sessions. This throw is not heavy in weight nor is it lite in weight. I recommend and will purchase more in the near future.

Very nice blanket!I washed it on warm, tumble dried on low and it came out just as nice as it went in! And virtually NO lint in the lint trap! This one isn't going to leave fuzzy stuff all over the place like some other blankets will.
