A Beautiful Wedding: A Beautiful Disaster Novella (Beautiful Disaster Series) Review: Beautiful, Touching, Passionate, and Unforgettable! - My Thoughts: I am a huge fan of Jamie McGuire's Beautiful Series, and completely devoured Beautiful Disaster, and Walking Disaster. A Beautiful Wedding has been on my wish list since I heard that Ms. McGuire was coming out with all the details of Abby and Travis' elopement. I had very high expectations for this story, and I was not one bit disappointed! Reading Beautiful Wedding, felt like a reunion of sorts. I have missed Abby and Travis, and to say that I was overjoyed, excited, and ecstatic to read this book would be an understatement! Ms. McGuire is a phenomenal author, and we are rewarded by her talent in this amazing story. I thought that it would feel like a short story, being under 200 pages long. However, it was well developed, and felt complete. I didn't feel like the story was rushed in any way, and was very satisfied with the ending. In this installment of the series, I was reminded of why I love Abby and Travis so much. Abby showed us how deep and selfless her love for Travis is; her loyalty, and strength. She continues to amaze me. Travis shows us the man he has evolved into ever since he fell in love with Abby. He is tender, compassionate, and devoted. Together, these two have a beautiful and very real love. A love that is eternal; filled with passion, and steamy sexiness. This story not only stays true to the essence of Travis and Abby's characters, but solidifies all we have come to learn about them. Beautiful Wedding will make you swoon, as butterflies flap like crazy in your stomach, tear up at many touching moments, and create a beautiful memory of two beloved characters, and a very touching installment to the ending of an epic series. My Rating: Beautiful Wedding by Jamie McGuire was a wonderful addition to the Beautiful Series! The story completely captivated me, and filled me with sentimentality and nostalgia for the beautiful ending to one of my absolute favorite series. Trust me, you will want to read this book and learn all about Abby and Travis' wedding, and happily ever after. We also get to encounter all of our favorite characters from this series, and boy did I ever miss Shepley, America, and The Maddox family! As Ms. McGuire is about to embark on a new journey of telling us the stories of the Maddox Brothers, Thomas, Taylor, Tyler, and Trent. I am sad to say goodbye to Travis and Abby's love story, but am excited for a new chapter to begin. I give Beautiful Wedding, by Jamie McGuire, 5 Beautiful, Touching, Passionate, and Unforgettable Stars! My Favorite Quotes: "I knew the second I met you that there was something about you I needed. Turns out it wasn't something about you at all. It was just you." ~Travis "He was mine, and I was his. If I knew anything at all, it was that only those two things mattered." ~Abby Review: “I guess the beautiful disaster turned into a beautiful wedding.” - “I guess the beautiful disaster turned into a beautiful wedding.” And a beautiful wedding it was! Of course I was thrilled at the end of Beautiful Disaster when Travis and Abby ended up married, I didn’t really think that was going to happen given their age but when it happened I thought it fit for them and their story. But since the book left out the actual details of the wedding there were lots of questions that I had as to what actually happened and why the sudden rush. Well this great little novella answered all of those and more! I have to admit, I didn’t expect the actual reason why Abby proposed so suddenly and while I didn’t totally love the reason, when I thought about the situation they were in and their age it made sense that she would jump to that. I wish that somehow Travis found out though, I felt a little bad for him that he was so pumped about it and didn’t really know the true motivation. But I know that Abby loves Travis and even though the circumstances behind it were less than ideal, being married to him was what she really wanted so ultimately I let it slide. After I got over that slight qualm I thoroughly enjoyed everything else about this novella. It was very sweet seeing Travis being so happy and trying to make it the perfect wedding for Abby. I also loved the role that Travis’ mother played in things. I liked that we finally got a little more info into Abby’s family and her childhood before things went wrong with her father and we got to see firsthand her relationship with America’s parents which was very sweet. I also really enjoyed how this book didn’t just stop after they got back from Vegas, we got to see them again a year later and I wasn’t sure which part I loved more, their initial wedding or their first anniversary! I’ll let you discover for yourself why I say that! There were many happy moments, a few sad moments and a bittersweet moment which all combined to make for a beautiful wedding for our beloved Travis and Abby! I’m sad that this is the last book for them but I am looking forward to seeing them again in Trenton’s book which I am about to start next!

Anyone who read Beautiful Disaster and/or Walking Disaster desperately wanted to know the details of Abby and Travis' wedding - how the nuptials came about, were there any hiccups, etc. Jamie McGuire has obviously listened to her fans and brought to us new novella A Beautiful Wedding, in order to sate our burning curiosity and to give us a much needed Travis fix *places book atop a glowing alter* This could easily be slipped in at the end of either of the first books, such is the seamless slip back into the story. Travis is . . . well, he's even more perfect. I loved the fact he was so overjoyed to be getting married, still so in awe of Abby and the letter from his mother is the cherry on the wedding cake. He is simply the swooniest of all swoon-worthy book boyfriends. It was heaven to find myself back with the characters but, frankly, Ms McGuire it's not enough. I want more. And I'm sure every single one of your fans wants more too so please, please bring us another Beautiful instalment. Reviewed by Charlotte Foreman on behalf of BestChickLit.com
