ROYAL KONA COFFEE Whole Bean - 100% Hawaiian Kona Whole Bean Coffee Medium Roast, 7 oz

This is my husband’s favorite coffee so I buy these small bags for special occasions or gifts. Having bought them a few times I’m aware that the quantity is less than what you’d buy of other beans at the store. They arrive fairly quickly and the quality is always as expected. My husband is giddily delighted and sets aside quiet time to grind, brew, and appreciate the scent and flavor. His happiness is worth the price when our budget allows for it.

Taste just like the coffee from Hawaii, because it is from Hawaii! My son loves it, and I give it to him for every occasion.

This is one of the best coffee I ever had. It's aroma and the lack of bitterness is its highlights. I bought a pound of Jamaican Blue Mountain from another company andgot both of them around the same time. They are both great coffee, however the aroma of this kona coffee is the reason why I liked this coffee better than compared to the JBM I got from a different company specially when brewed by a French Press. One of the most important things that makes a great cup of coffee is if it is freshly roasted. Both the kona and JBM were really good when I first opened the bag and noticed a decline in quality after a few days. I believe it is best to finish the whole bag within a week after you open it which is another reason why I preferred this kona as it comes in a 7oz bag, I would rather get two 7oz bag than one 14oz. I will order a pound of kona coffee from the same company that I ordered the JBM and compare it with the kona private reserve since this company roast your coffee the same day it is shipped out and Ireceive it in two business days. It also cost a lot less for $20 a pound. Will I order this kona private reserve again for $17.95 for 7oz? I'll find out when I try the other brand, if it taste similar to the kona private reserve then I will probably start getting my kona coffee from the other roaster at a much lower cost, if not I will most likely be ordering the kona private reserve again. I think it's worth the price for a coffee this good.

Very good I would buy again

Got this as a birthday present and it was great. Item shipped as described. The coffee was not acidic, and it had a great taste and great aroma. This is definitely great due to my issues with acid reflux, this was a very smooth coffee and did not upset it at all. Unfortunately, this is a bit pricey for my budget and for the smaller quantity that is sent for that price. Most likely I will only be getting this as treat for me some time next year around my birthday. Otherwise, I definitely recommend it for folks who are looking for something that this company boasts and described their site, it did not disappoint.

Very rarely do I return items purchased on Amazon, even more rarely do I review purchases, and almost never for their poor quality (I research my purchases as best as I can); HOWEVER, I purchased 2 packages of very expensive and well rated coffee for Christmas presents. The items shipped quickly, BUT the packages looked like they had gone through the war; the coffee bags were crumpled so they could not be used as gifts. SO I can kept them to use as a special treat, or for company. The first brew was a disaster, bitter with poor flavor, worse than the average run of the mill stuff one can buy. So the second time I was very very careful to follow the instructions precisely, measuring carefully. BUT AGAIN, horrible coffee. and worse yet the time to return the items had lapsed. Why am I stuck with this miserably overpriced overrated coffee? and why doesnt Amazon give more time to reeturn Items, especially as many are used as gifts? HELP!

I've been a Kona fan for a few years now and I've tried most of the top brands but somehow I missed this one until recently. Royal Kona has a nice aroma and solid flavor profile. Very smooth and low acidity. I rate it as one of the best Konas I've come across yet.

Yes, I love Kona coffee, but NO, I don't like to be ripped off. This coffee is way over priced, the bag of whole beans was only 2/3 full and it cost almost $40. I think I will just settle for regular coffee, there are hundreds of other coffee companies who roast wonderful tasting beans, but charge only a fraction of what Kona coffee charges. If you are rick and insist on Kona, buy this, the flavor is great. If you don't have this kind of money, don't purchase, as you will be quite disappointed at the size of the bag and how few beans there are.
