Very important to know if you need precision.The frames are of good quality for the price. I haven't hung them up yet so I cannot attest to the included hardware. Yes, the 'glass' is plexiglass and will scratch but is great for safety since it won't shatter. Make sure you remove the protective film from both sides of the plexiglass.

So something I'm always concerned with is how careful products like this are packaged for shipping. In this case, I can confirm that they, very thoroughly, bubbled the frame and it came in excellent condition.For those hoping for a piece of glass or plastic to protect your images when in frame, these frames do not feature one. however, they do have a great backing with a hanging mount.I for one am securing a stretched round canvas in my frame and the fit is quite close (though the backing can not be used with the canvas in the frame.) To secure the canvas I'm just doing a simple wedging technique. I'm very pleased with this purchase and have ordered (and received) two as of this review

I’ve been looking for a round picture frame for a little plaque that I found. I had been looking at thrift stores and garage sales because I’m cheap, but I finally broke down and ordered this one. I’m sorry to say I was a bit disappointed. The actual frame is very good, but the insert is some sort of cheap plastic. It also had a horrible smell. I had to leave it outside for a day to air it out. All in all, it does work with my little plaque so I am keeping it.

Item was received covered in chips in the wood frame and scuffs all over the plastic “glass”. I would be returning if I hadn’t already thrown away the packaging. Very very disappointed.

Plexiglass, and the hook can fall off the back when inserting your picture, so make sure not to lose it! However, the back goes on and off easily, and it's just the thing for my art. They look surprisingly cute and classy!
