Very thick and warm
I bought these to cover a room with terrible flooring, they are thick enough that a surface doesn't have to be even, they are even warm on your feet. I only bought one pack at first but definitely will be buying more. Far better than the adhesive tiles I've bought before.

Hmm - I have mixed feelings on these tiles. Asthetically they’re not bad but they don’t look like real wood. They interlock easily and quite well. The thickness is acceptable. The edges can be made using the built in edge stips which can also be removed if required.I am concerned about their longevity and would certainly never use them in an area where ther was heavy foot traffic (like a lounge/living room). They could be used in a bedroom but, and it’s a big but, if you stand furniture on them, the interlocking sections start to lift which, although not necessarily causing a trip hazard, it would certainly add to the speedy wear of the surface. I note that one reviewer has used them in the car boot and felt that was a great idea.My second concern is about their slipperiness. If you’re wearing socks/tights and no slippers, I hope you are good at ice skating and keeping your balance, they are very slippery. Also, they can be slippery if you wear smooth-soled slippersOverall, I’m glad I’ve got them to try out, but once worn, would not replace.

Very useful, and surprisingly smart-looking
The bright and colourful versions of these are to be found in playgroups and child nurseries all around the country, and we bought a set for our home which have been handy in the patio area of our garden, variously for hopscotch, picnicking on, and on more than one occasion providing a cushioned landing for a falling child who might otherwise have ended up grazed- so our existing set have served us well. These are very slightly different to what we already had. They’re smaller, so there’s no chance the two sets will join together (which I didn’t expect would be possible anyway). They’re also a bit thicker, appropriately as they’re branded “extra thick”. That’s a definite plus, on both counts, because it allows for more control over the shape, and they provide a bit more comfort for bums or bumps as well.We got a ‘light wood’ set and the patterning is a lot better than I expected. My expectations were low but it does look remarkably like actual wooden flooring from a distance- it’s surprisingly smart-looking. I’m not wholly sure why it’ll be more useful that it looks like wooden flooring- I would’ve thought that padded (and potentially slippy, unsecured) flooring shouldn’t really be disguised, and that bright colours might be more appropriate, but I can imagine why some families might like the idea of a permanently padded but still smart-looking bit of flooring. The inclusion of the edge pieces, which our previous set didn’t have, are a good solution cosmetically as well. They’re a reasonably cost-effective (though not super-cheap) way to get some of your floor padded without making it look like you’ve turned it into a soft play area, and I’m impressed with them.
