Works as advertised. I had a 1.7 SWR so didn't trim the antenna. You can coil and uncoil the cable to tweak it a little. Magnet holds well and road speed..

Fast shipping connected it to my old CB and it worked great. With my old CB radio it got out to about 5 miles.

i wouldn’t buy this for highway use kept falling off going highway speeds! so didn’t really fit my purpose of buying it! really needed something for when i hauling. it’s on my work vehicle now that never leaves the city! it transmitted signal from the highway which is five or take 3 miles from my home.

Works well with my portable CB handheld radios, increasing the range. The only negative is the magnet base doesn't stick well enough to my vehicle to keep it from blowing off when driving. I use it indoors and only on the vehicle if I'm not driving.

High power, easy to install great value for price. Would recommend to anyone.

Complete junk! Materials are cheap. Poorly assembled. Center load was loose. SWR out of the packaging is infinity at both channels 1 and 40 so there is no way to know if antenna is too long or too short. Packaging states SWR adjustment should not be an issue. Hah. My other whip antenna with mount was less than 1.5 to 1 right out of the packaging. Don’t buy this. I’m off to the truck stop to grab a midland product.

Got this as a next-day delivery, since I was headed out of town and wanted to be on sideband while I drove. My old mag mount cable got pinched and shorted out. This was not much better.... the whip is very flimsy, the magnet does stick but needs a bigger footprint. The package came with no instructions, so I tried the lock washer on the bottom and the mid-mount point. No difference, but where the bottom post meets the spring, that transition (chrome to brass) was not soldered , just pinched. That came loose, and even when trying to tune the whip (SWR never got below 2.0), it always measured too short for CB Frequencies. As I was removing it the final time, the center load cover seemed like it was loosening. From now on for my radio stuff I'm buying recognizable brand names.
