These bars are excellent. They have a great texture and are extremely filling. I've been eating these for years and I don't plan on stopping.

Very Tastee ! and lots of protein

The protein quantity and general taste are both decent. The fact that its main protein source is beans gives it a different flavor and texture than some other bars. I appreciate the variety pack not including chocolate - that can be hard to find.

Good tasting protein bar

I had really high hopes for these bars but they are truly terrible. I am vegetarian and struggle getting adequate protein. It’s a daily struggle. I am tired of soy based products and other protein bars use whey, sugar alcohols, and artificial sweeteners, which are displeasing to me. These were too good to be true. The other reviews are correct. The texture and saltiness are like eating playdoh (yes, I remember as a child tasting playdoh, lol) These bars have a salty and strange flavor. It’s weird, that’s the only way to describe it. Why so salty??? The lemon bars were the worst and I love lemon anything!! I am amazed at the good reviews and wish I had a good experience. I am forcing myself to eat them because they were expensive and I need protein, but I have to immediately chase each bite with water. I feel bad just wasting them though. Unfortunately, I will have to stick to the soy based bars and will not purchase these again. Another thing is the box I received will be expired in the beginning of February, I only got them around January 3. What’s up with that? Maybe these are old? And finally, as if I didn’t have enough complaints, they give you an awful stomachache. Probably because they have so much fiber in them for one serving, my goodness. This is probably why other people said it made them violently ill. All that fiber is tough on digestion especially if you are not use to it and don’t drink adequate fluids.

It's soft and definitely takes like cookie dough covered in chocolate but I'm a sweet tooth and it was just way too sweet for me. Really high in sugar too, like 10 g per bar. Its basically a candy bar
