Visit DENSO-use part finder to verify fit
2000 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 manual trans and California excluded emissions "upstream sensor" my first sensor ordered was listed as fitting my truck (on Amazon).. in fact it did not. Wrong connector. Strongly suggest verify your make/model with Denso web site prior to purchase. Diff sensors based on transmission type, engine and California emissions (have or not). Denso auto parts for verification. Also, DIYers, plan ahead, the nuts that attach to the studs have an M8 thread. Suggest replace them w/new and anticipate a need for a nut extractor. Had 1 nut strip out (12mm) the nut extractor saved the day -

Fixed the P0420 trouble code in a my 2004 Toyota Tundra
Perfect fit for the drivers side rear 02 sensor on my 2004 Toyota Tundra. Got rid of the "check engine light" code P0420 "catalytic converter operating below efficienct". The cat probably indeed is operating below efficiency after 140,000 miles but replacing the 02 sensor got rid of the code and the check engine light has not come back on yet. Denso are the original equipment used by Toyota and this is a good price for it. Make sure you use anti seize compound on the studs used to bolt this sensor to the exhaust pipe and torque it down good to prevent air leaks. I used a dab of Permatex 81343 Anti-Seize Lubricant for this. Disconnect the car battery for at least 30 minutes before changing this sensor and double check that the electrical connector is on there firmly. Then when you start the car it will re-learn everything with the new sensor in place. Not much else to say except this is the same as the Toyota OEM part for 1/2 the price and it works just as it should, if properly installed.

open bag, no gasket, unknown #, possibly used.
It came in a Denso box but the bag is open and the gasket is missing. Number on part itself does not match box or come up on Denso website, has wrench marks on fitting. I needed to do this project today but now I had to drive to 4 different stores to find a gasket and I'm not even sure if this sensor is correct or new.

DENSO quality, comes with new quality gasket
Fits 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner, V6 4X4 manual transmission. Fixed OBDII code P0133, Bank 1, Sensor 1, Circuit Slow Response….translation; upstream sensor is slow/worn/dying. Might as well replace the downstream sensor too. Removing the old rusted fastening nuts is a PITA, search YouTube for removal tips, needed tools, and replacement fasteners.

Denso OEM for Toyota worth it
If you are weighing using this until or a cheaper Ox sensor for your Tundra stop wondering now. I used cheaper non Denso sensors and they kept telling me my catalytic converter was dead. The Denso sensors solved my problems. Remember as well the the upstream and downstream sensors work like a team. The car computer measures the first sensor and then compares that reading to the second sensor. So mixing an upstream and downstream sensor from different brands or even different ages of sensors may provide you with inaccurate readings. Also your upstream sensor might need replacing even if the code just tells you catalytic converter and downstream sensor. I had constant code issues with previous brands. Denso' have been installed for about 3 months and have worked flawlessly. I almost foolishly bought a new catalytic converter and had an auto place suggest I needed new Catalytic converter based on the codes. Proper new Denso's all around and my Tundra (235,000 miles and counting) ran great and no longer gives me false readings. Great sensors and perfect fit.

Very Good
These are good Oxygen Sensors and Original equipment on my 2004 Toyota Tundra Crew Max SR5 V-8 I bought these to Kill the check engine light.. Well after having my Mechanic install them with extensions.. They lasted a year & kept the light off.. Now I just had the entire exhaust system replaced to the tune of $2500.00 & had to buy these again!! I had to replace the Catalytic Converters.. If your Ck engine light is on & these don't fix the problem. Then You need New Cats! My advice to you is replace the Cats & use these Original O2 Sensors 3 months now & Ck Engine light is History!! :)

2003 Tundra
I have a 2003 Tundra 4.7. I had changed the sensors twice with same problem returning each time. Finally found out Denso makes the ones that came with my truck. I changed all 4 and now for the first time in 4 years no check engine lite for 2 weeks so far. My take on it is if you want the light out get the Denso if you have a Tundra!! Do it right the first time. Almost 1/3 better gas mileage as well..big bonus!
