This item is light, easy to use and surprisingly functional. Despite it's apparent simplicity, it is a very clever design. I have used it for the management of a portable CCTV cable which I employ for underwater video filming. The inevitable 'bobbin-reel' that the cable was supplied on was a real pain to rewind each time after use and, if left unattended, soon became an untidy and frustrating 'birds-nest'. This allows the neat storage of cable after a fast retrieval action and ensures that the only cable that is 'deployed is the length you actually need. Brilliant - and worth every penny!
