Better than expected for the price. Is it amazing quality? No. Does it work for a training rig, a truck rig, a stash away and forget rig, a weekend rifle class rig, a “loaner” rig etc? Yup. Wouldn’t care much if I damaged or lost it. I have $200 units that are better in every way but these have a place too. It’s a decent setup of pockets.

Long but honest review from an Airborne inf vet. Alright folks, First things first. I was looking at ditching my old AR500 carrier and switching over to simply using a chest rig. I work as a contractor for security companies on military installations and need a different color carrier for duty anyway. I was really hooked on hailey, mayflower, and the company who made my Army gear which was London bridge trading co. However, as a 26 year old father of two.. I could not justify spending $400+ on a hailey or mayflower. That’s just stupid money.. So I started digging around and came across this company. I did my research, it’s a smaller company that is family owned. They do outsource some gear but their equipment features legit components like yyk for the plastics and zippers, legit cordura for the main materials. So far I’ve rucked with it under full load, with all 4 full AR mags, all 4 fully loaded sidearm mags, multi tool, cleaning kit, Med kit, chemlights, compass, map, marker, ifak, tech (phone and garmin gps) snacks, spare ammo, hydration, and a spare tq. The whole thing under load with all of my gear weighs around 13-18lbs after adjusting the straps (which are very comfortable and feature d rings for comms and hydration tube) the rig does not wiggle, or allow items to jostle and make noise. Definitely living above the standards I had for the price!!! I went through this rig thoroughly to make sure it met the same inspection standards my equipment had to meet when I was in the army (today nov-20 /2020 marks an exact year since being home.) I went through inside and out, each pouch, each seam, each strap, each clip, the webbing, the mesh on the rear to prevent direct contact with the carrier to allow breathability, authenticity of color, materials. Honest to god the only gripes I had were that the pouches weren’t modular. Meaning the three pouches you see are all stitched to the main platform. The platform does flip off of the mesh exposing a double flap of Velcro for you to attach a dangler or another pouch. The chest rig does include a qd system for rigging to a plate carrier. Inside of the bottom pouch is double Velcro which allows for securing any equipment that has Velcro to the inside so it doesn’t flip around. That was a HUGE surprise. I couldn’t find a single seam or stitch that was not double stitched or triple stitched, I couldn’t find any rips, tears, compromised in material, threads unsecured, I couldn’t find a piece of material that wasn’t genuine cordura. I value this chest rig at a significantly higher price than the $40 I paid right here on amazon. I will be purchasing through this company again, I guarantee it. I’ve already recommended this exact product to some friends and family members who are also active service, veterans, law enforcement, search and rescue/fire/ems, or just plain bush crafters. This is a genuinely good product. I do want to recommend that if you buy this,you should also look into the Leyden dangler. It is a perfect match for this carrier.

TL;DR: this manufacturer, and this product, are not real competition with Haley, Ferro, Spiritus, and other manufacturers of top-shelf high end gear and products. You can also [tightly] pack 75 (56 + 12 + 7) shot shells onto this rig and not have to worry about them coming off unless you retrieve them. That said, for what this rig is - it's quite good. It's also 1/4 the cost of the "real thing" and gives you about 50%-70% of the functionality. I ordered this after reading reviews, comparing products in the same price range by other manufacturers, and ultimately because I saw a review with a picture that showed this rig holding 8 30-round M4/AR15 magazines. Well....it does and it doesn't. I wish I'd paid more attention when ordering. There are four magazine pouches on the rear row of this rig, not eight. Which means you have to double-stack two mags into one pouch area, and there's one retention bungee. So just know that if you're pulling one mag from the pouch, the other one is gonna go with it - or possibly fumble and tumble to the ground. I got this specifically for a shotgun class and thought this would be an effective, low-cost solution since a velcro-backed card of 6 or 7 shot shells is roughly the same dimension as an AR15 or M4 magazine. It is, but it was VERY difficult to get two shot shell cards to fit into the pouches. And same thing as with my comment on rifle mags - if I pull one shotshell card from the pouch, the other one is coming with it......so just plan to slap one of the cards on the side of your shotgun receiver, and do something else with the other one - like secure it to another hook & loop panel on the front of this rig. All in all, if you're patient and willing to cram you can fit between 40 and 56 shot shells in the back row. The overall capacity depends on whether you use 5-shell, 6-shell, or 7-shell cards. The 6-shell cards sit and fit flush, whereas the 7-shell cards stick out the top by like 3/4 of an inch, or one shell length. In addition to the back row, you can fit another 12 shells (2 6-shell cards) in the front center pouch. It's a super tight fit, and doing so may cause some zipper issues down the road - but for what you pay for this rig, go ahead and abuse it a little. The manufacturer was kind enough (LOL) to stitch a rather large ONE TIGRIS insignia into the front of the loop strip on the front of the pouch, and if you're like me - well, I don't like advertising a product unless I REALLY like it, or get paid for it. So I stuck another 7-shell card sideways on that loop panel and it covered up the obnoxious ONE TIGRIS stitching while also adding to the overall shell capacity of the rig. I was quite happy with the retention of the hook & loop for the shell card, and I don't think it would come off from just bouncing around or running - you'd have to intentionally pull it off the strip to get it to detach....that, or bump up against something with enough force that it got pulled off. As for the smaller left & right pouches on the front row, you're not gonna get anything else with the hook portion of a hook & loop setup in there. There's a flap/cover on both sides, but if you pull that off and look inside, there's loop sewn into both the front and back of the inside. So anything you stick in there with a hook strip or section is gonna become like super-glued to one side of the inside or the other, and you're not getting it out without some real effort. Also, the side pouches are kinda small. As in, you could fit a multi-tool and a folding knife in there, but it's not Haley-size where you can holster a G19 or similar size sidearm and then tuck the holstered sidearm into the pouch. It's just not gonna happen. Maybe with a G43 or micro carry pistol, but that would also be pushing it. However, this brings me to another positive comment regarding the quality of the hook & loop One Tigris uses - it's actually high quality. I bet it will last for quite a while before losing it's "stickiness". I'll update this review after putting it through the paces to see how it actually performs outside of the house.

Very simple to use and great functionality. Zippers are very sturdy and capable. I love that the micro-rig size that is capable of holding both 5.56 and 7.62 magazines. There are a few other pockets I am still trying to figure out how to utilize, but that's all just expandability at this point.

Took a rifle training class with it. Did everything I needed it to. Not sure how it will hold up over the long term, but for the price I paid I am happy with what I've got. And I must say at this point there hasn't been any signs indicating that it will not hold up well. AR Pmags fit well. I ran 5 (one mag in 3 of the 4 pockets, two mags in the other one). Didn't have a problem getting them in and out of the pockets. Holds them well. I had extra loose ammo in the pouch in front. Worked great. I'm 6 feet tall and 165 lbs. I didn't have to adjust the straps much at all.

Very well made. Holds 8 AR mags. Also has other pockets for small stuff. Very pleased.
