Let me just say this. I’ve been on lots of dates. And this was, hands down, the best date I’ve ever had.

I love these. This is my 3rd bag. I do transfer them to a glass jar, otherwise they dry out before I can use them all.

These are really good quality dates. if they’re not dried out. So far I had two packages with over dried fruit. Otherwise they’re delicious and worth the price.

I was really looking forward to eating these dates, unfortunately, they are so dry that it’s like eating wood! and have no flavor at all. Totally disappointing!

The Deglet Noor variety of dates is, in my opinion, a much better date than Medjool variety. The DN is firmer and has a better flavor. The more common Medjool date tends to have a mushy texture and is not as sweet. I much prefer the DN's drier texture., although I'm sure not everyone agrees. The dates in this bag are somewhat sticky when you open it. This can be quickly remedied by placing a couple of handfuls on a paper plate and leave them exposed to room temperature air for day or so. Better yet, place them by a window that gets sunlight. This eliminates the stickiness and firms them up a bit more. I will definitely be buying more.

I love these dates for an afternoon snack or to slice a couple onto a salad. Good, resealable bag keeps them fresh for a long time- I keep mine in the fridge. So good. And good for you.
