This is a sturdily constructed strainer that closes compactly for storage. The three rubber-protected metal feet are very helpful for safe use in teflon-coated pots, pans and woks, and can fold up for easier storage. The “leaves” are well built and stay in place when opened or closed, and the pull-out plastic handle remains cool after steaming and makes removal from pots and pans after steaming simple and pleasant. All components appear to be dishwasher safe, and the strainer is a welcome addition to our kitchen equipment.

Sturdy steamer that works well in a 3 3/4 quart pot. In my smaller 2 quart pot I have to adjust the legs of the steamer so it sits lower because if it’s on it’s regular height the steamer is too high and the pot cover doesn’t fit. I make it work since it’s a nice quality steamer.

Nice item and works well. So far holding up without any problems. Adjusts to fit small medium and large pots. On smaller pot it does come to the top but I am able to get the lid on anyway

Bought this as a gift for my bff and her sensitive pans. Love that the feet have non scratch material on them. The center you insert a fort to remove, and works perfectly. may be a few more bux than the standard metal one, but performs great and seems durable. definitely worth the investment.

This steamer is very sturdy. With the former one I had purchased on Amazon, the panes or vent, or whatever you call them, would get loose and wouldn't stay in place, would fall out, etc. There is no problem with this one after using it for months. I highly recommend this one.

It’s easy to clean easy to use great size and fits in many of my pots

I really like this steamer. It’s sturdy, solid, and dishwasher-safe. I overlooked that the handle takes up a fair amount of space so I find I often need to use a bigger pan than before. I like the handle though (my old one had a small ring to lift it out), so it’s a worthwhile trade-off for me. And the covered feet make it safe for my non-stick pans too!

My old one fell apart and I got fed up of fixing it, so I got this one. Build quality is good but a shade smaller than my previous one. Okay for small meals. I like the extendable handle on it. Hope it lasts as long.

I’m really impressed with how this steams but am sad that there is a different metal used to fix the feed to the body. It is here that it rusts otherwise would be 5 stars

The item has started to rust after using for the second time. Using to steam food for my baby so not happy.
