Lock arrived as described. Charged ok, 4 different fingerprints entered ok, and then was used to secure a cabinet from access by a child. It functioned for half a day as described, though the fingerprint reader would often take 3-4 repeated attempts to unlock. Then, on the afternoon of the first day of use, the lock was accidentally dropped from a height of ~3 ft onto a tile floor. Now the lock 1) clasping/locking mechanism does not engage, and 2) the fingerprint reader is not working as it first was (even after trying to reset), and as it should as described in the manual. I am disappointed, as I would expect a lock to be hardy enough to continue working after being dropped.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this lock if it will be used in an environment where it could be dropped onto a hard surface or otherwise take a sharp impact.

Pretty good little gadget. Easy to program, easy to operate. And usually opens on first try. The beep is a little annoying.. but not a deal breaker. (It is loud though)I read all of the reviews after I bought it.. seems people having issues. You get 10 fingerprint scans. If it is just you, I suggest placing as many as you have patience for. The more you do, more accurate it will be. As for losing charge, mine had been charged forever (over a month I think) and I have only ran out of power once. Like most.. it wasn’t bear a power supply, but instead of cutting it.. I used a battery pack to charge and open. It’s a digital device.. it’s nit going to have power forever.That being said.. I think if you are looking for something like this, you found it.

Bigger and heavier than I expected, but feels very durable. Scanner doesn’t always work but then again neither does the one on my expensive laptop and iPhone, plus I’ve never actually been locked out beyond having to attempt a few times. Easy to set up, and I love not having to remember a code or carry a key around. No one can guess the code either! Great value for the money.

Good looking lock, decent build quality....the sensor is not the best. It does not like to unlock on the first few scans. It has never worked out he first try, well maybe once?I normally have to scan my finger at least 10 times and sometimes 20 times.I bought this so I wouldn’t have to keep turning a comb lock but I don’t think I’m saving time, just remembering I could probably go back to my combo lock and it would be the same amount of time and less frustration.I think I may record my finger again using other finger print slots in memory, as it may save my finger print in different angles and accept it more easily.I’ve had it for a couple of weeks and the battery is holding its charge. I use it multiple times per day.The lock does not always release the first time it accepts a fingerprint...could be due to The weak battery used?The metal wire is too thick for my backpack so I have to use it somewhere else....Would probably suggest youBuy a brand name if you can afford it, otherwise this will be enough for the cool factor.

This is a good size lock - however - even tho the fingerprint reader does not read my fingerprint every time immediately - I have not ever been completely locked out - I may have to move my finger around on it, but at least it does let me try a bunch of times & I will eventually get in! What I really like about this lock- is that there is NO access to open the lock by going to any store and buying an identical lock & using the same " tsa key coded key" to go ahead and get in. THIS is SO MUCH BETTER than that!

This little lock at first glance appeared to be a perfect travel solution to avoid luggage theft from my luggage. It was very easy to set up and worked perfectly. I could not believe how much easier this was in comparison to a similar type of lock I purchased a few years ago, which did not always read my fingerprint every time. Once programmed I put this lock aside and about a month later I tried to open it using my fingerprint but it would not open. I followed the enclosed instructions to override the user fingerprint with the administrator fingerprint I had set up initially but no luck. PLEASE keep in mind when I contacted Amazon they explained I could not receive a refund but they would send me a replacement lock and if that were problematic I would have no recourse. Customer satisfaction with Amazon just flew out the window for the fist time in 18 years!Note: the problem with this lock is that there is no other way to open the lock other than with a fingerprint. There is no keypad to enter a code, nor a key in case of emergency. I do not want to have to carry a bolt cutter with me on vacation just in case the fingerprint fails. I am out $28 for a lock that is not reliable! Makes me very angry. I have not opened the new lock so I will probably sell at a discount on Mercari or a similar app.
