What is the diameter of the wire rope?

Well I can't say if the product is waterproof cuz I haven't tested it. I can't tell you it would be great for the gym just read your finger off prior to touching the pad. Great fur my backpack my briefcase holder luggage perfect for TSA I believe. At first try I was a little overwhelmed. But I come to enjoy using this lock very much and put a lot of faith in it

The fingerprint pad stopped working. It’s fully charged, but is completely unresponsive to the fingerprint pad. How do I fix it?

Probably can't be fixed. If it's locking something you need open, just pop the plastic cover off, reach in with a hooked wire or similar and unlatch the hasp. Credit to Lock Picking Lawyer.
