Brilliant!
Wanted to get one of these for the longest time, but a lot of the ratings I saw weren’t very good. Until I found this vegetable chopper! It is absolutely brilliant. Saves so much time and is very efficient in chopping lots of different vegetables. The chopper is so easy to handle and I can easily grip it whilst using. Definitely worth the money and I would buy it again if I needed to.

Superb item. High quality. Very sturdy. Great for getting salads prepped and down you in super fast time. I will usually use tomatoes (the machine has no issues at all with chopping them with a super quick slam although very, very soft tomatoes might be more of a challenge), a small amount of red onion (I suggest using the finer blades for this as the onions do come out quite chunky otherwise and can be quite overpowering in a salad), pepper, cucumber, carrots, nuts and a dressing (honey and mustard, Caesar, balsamic with a tiny amount mint or a vinegar based one - you could get the ingredients in and make these yourself, rather than constantly buying in). I’ll usually stir in ham or chicken and mix it all up with some lettuce (it didn’t do a good job at chopping lettuce, so you might want to cut that separately). Then…..I take the whole of the bottom bowl where the salad has been captured, stick a fork in it and I’m good to go and have a massive, healthy salad for lunch. Be very careful with the blades - and I just want to really stress this……when you first take them out of the package, when you put them in the chopper and when removing, washing and drying - I’ve had a couple of nasty nicks off them. They are extremely sharp. Washing the thing is a little boring I.E washing the bowl, washing the couple of blades, and washing the unit and the slammer bit. It comes with a plastic brush that really does do a good job at cleaning the slammer bit, though (I store the blades in the bowl and the lid fits on over the top without any issue). Excited to look up some more salad ideas.

Smart purchase
This has made my life more easier and shorter time prepping my veggies. I made large bulk of fried rice using this chopper because I don’t like frozen veggies for my fried rice and the quality is top notch.

Surprisingly useful - A real time-saver for prepping vegetables
At first, I thought this vegetable chopper might be a bit of a gimmick, but I was completely wrong. Now we use it every time we need to cut more than just two or three vegetables - it’s genuinely much faster and easier than a knife and cutting board. A couple of things to note: the blades can be tricky to clean, especially if you’re chopping a lot of vegetables in a row. Compared to washing a cutting board and knife, it takes longer, but once you’re chopping more than 2-3 vegetables, the time saved during cutting far outweighs the extra cleaning time. The “9-in-1” aspect isn’t particularly useful - the two main chopping blades are what you’ll actually use most of the time. The small squares are perfect for carrots, onions, peppers, and most other veggies. The larger squares are only useful for very chunky cuts, where a knife would be just as easy. The other accessories see almost no use in the year we've had them. One important tip and I cant stress this enough: don’t overload the blades. I can usually push through whatever fits, but for my partner, a full tray can be too much, and she sometimes resorts to standing on it (which works but isn’t ideal). The key is to limit how much surface area is touching the blades at a time, closing it multiple times for smaller loads is a lot easier than cramming it full and trying to close it on all of them at once. Overall, this is a surprisingly practical and time-saving tool for anyone who cooks regularly and wants to speed up veggie prep.

Sharp,compact, good
Very good and very sharp. Chops but needs a little strength to push down. No more tears with the onions lol. Great kitchen appliance.

Good for some things not others
I had a picture of just putting all the salad things in the chopper and ending up with nice cubes. However it does not quite work like that. Some things are good, eg sweet potato cubes, cucumbers. Others don't work so well, eg apples with the skin on, the skin stays on the cutter. The product itself is well made and sturdy. For one or two things I find it easier to cut by hand, once you have washed out the unit and dug out any bits left behind there is not much time saving. I can see it would work for large quantities of some items, so I guess it is what it would be used for.
