Delighted with this item. Very strong tubing with easy to use and strong locking system. Actually quite light considering the quality of materials. Being in three sections it folds down to a good storage size for a 3m pole. Even the grip at the bottom is a good quality rubberised material. The head works well, seems sturdy and has a slightly grippy inner surface which helps. I have previously ordered a 2 piece twist lock telescopic velux pole from another company, it wasnt near the level of quality of this item. I have had bad experiences with twist locks on tools in the past, so am glad this does not use that system. Highly recommend.

We purchased the 3 metre window pole for opening our Velux windows on our self build as they hadn't been opened for some time. The parcel arrived well packaged and quickly. We had to wait a couple of weeks for the weather to change before we could try it out and the windows were stiff to open initially so needed a good pull. The pole is well constructed and strong and easy to put together and locks together well to secure it in place. If you follow the instructions supplied and stand where suggested the pole locks onto the opening bar of the Velux easily and does not slip and is just as easy to close. The pole collapses down to the length of a broom and is easy to store away. I was concerned the c shaped hook might be flimsy but it is not and has the addition of a piece for opening and closing blinds which we hope we will be able to use in the future once we have blinds fitted. If you put the hook the wrong way round I can see that you could easily damage/break the blind hook control. The only thing I would have preferred was for the illustrative drawings supplied with the pole showing how to position the hook on the Velux bar to have been slightly bigger to see how how to position it to ensure you didn't damage the blind hook. We are also looking forward to being able to purchase additional attachments such as the dusters which were not available at the same time to reach those cobwebs high in the ceilings. I would definitely recommend this pole for its strength and versatility.

We had a Velux pole for years and it was so flimsy. You couldn't put sufficient push in to it to close a high up window as it felt like it would bend/snap. This pole is fantastic. Amazing strength and length to reach very high up windows. On full extension the strength isn't compromised. The end clip is strong and the perfect shape and size to attach to the window bar. I wish we had found this years ago. We nearly had electric velux fitted because of the height of our new windows but couldn't afford to. Since buying this pole I am so pleased we didn't buy electric as this pole has saved a fortune and works so well!

I needed this to open 4.8m velux windows and having see a neighbours alternate red version, also available on Amazon, this one was much stronger! Really impressed!

Really happy to have found this to replace a broken one that was no longer functional. The pole is fairly light and easy to use. It has two sections that slide one at the push of a button and then lock in at various intervals.My two negative points would be the price (so high for a fairly simple pole!) and the fact that often the locked in position (when extended) slips to the next latch position. This last point is surprisingly frustrating and possibly dangerous, should there be someone behind you when you use it as you can knock them out!With all that said, it’s still a life-saver for me as in the hot weather I can open our ceiling windows again. I couldn’t find anything similarly long and suitable anywhere else.

I decided to get the best quality window opener after reading a few reviews. This is strong, long and opened my 20 year old velux windows with ease. They have hardly ever been opened before - standing on a chair with a garden hoe was no longer an attractive proposition! I can't believe it's taken this long to be able to let bees out when they get stuck! Also fresh air in. Very satisfying.

I haven't tried it yet but can see that it's sturdy and well designed and that it will do the job. I hope! Don't waste your money on cheaper flimsy ones that break or aren't up to the job.

We have a velux window in our onsuite and been living in the house for 15 years. The window was unreachable and even with this item, my wife has to stand on a small step.Now we can open and close the window with this item.The slide and clip action is perfect and easy to use. It feels very solid, although I would like to be able to have a spare tip in case the current one snaps. The screw on top is made of plastic and feels solid but like all plastics, can and probably will break in the future.All in all, glad I found this item and now able to open the window that was unreachable and all options back when we priced were far too expensive to purchase.
