but I like it anyway
I'm Dutch and wanted a Oma bike for a long time. I received the bike yesterday and a local Bike Shop put it together for me.The color "green" is actually more of a bright aqua/turquoise color, but I like it anyway. I love this solid work horse, and attached a Springer" so my dogs can have their daily run while I ride the bike.Great bike!! I like the made in Europe, and definitely recommend this bike

Not perfect but does the job
So I orded the red bike but received a white one... when I told someone from their customer service team I was not even given an apology let; alone an offer to replace the item... along with that, the manual handbook I received was for a completely different bike ... So putting the bike together was a bit of hassle but they do offer technical support over the phone. PLEASE NOTE: you need a special bike pump or adapter for the tires as it is smaller than your reg. American tire! Unfortunately the lamp in the front is also not working nor were the side parts on the tire to protect dirt from coming up. So the bike is definitely not perfect but I use it to bike to work back and forth everyday and it does the job. I am from The Netherlands and am very happy to have found a Dutch bike but if you do not care about that, I would purchase a regular bike from Wallmart of something

It's a real Nederlandse Fijts! Tall, no gears, only back pedal brakeand a pure ride!
The first one arrived in a damaged box with pieces missing and no packaging to speak of. I returned it and requested a replacement. Amazon was easy to work with. The second one arrived in one piece, well wtapped, wrap around bubble wrap with all parts in tact. I've been commuting with it now for a few weeks. It rides like the wind reminding me of Europe.
