10 Eversweet Everbearing Strawberries Plants - Organic Grown USA. Zone 4-9.
Product Care Instructions | Strawberry Plant Basics Soil: Ideal soil pH is 5.5-6.5. Strawberry plants need well-draining soil. Choose a good quality potting mix that has perlite mixed in. You will then want to add in about 1/3 compost to mix in with your potting soil. This will create a well-draining, nutrient filled soil that your strawberries will love! We recommend to always check your soil's pH. Environment: If your area's daily temp is in the 80s or above you will want to start them in a place that is not in direct sun, such as indoors with a grow light or outdoors on a covered porch. If you are able to start them outdoors right away in the spring then you may place them in your gardening bed or pots, just make sure you mulch them so they may retain moisture when watered., Water: If you are starting them indoors or outside in shade, you may only need to water about twice a week. Once they are outside in full sun, then you will need to adjust your watering to accomadate the direct sun that will cause their soil to dry out at a faster rate. Transplanting Outdoors: Once the plant has grown a few new stems, you may transplant them outside. Usually this will be about two weeks after planting. For the first two days you will want to place them in a shaded area outdoors. These first two days will allow the plant to acclimate to the humidity and temperature of their environment first. And then each day after that you may begin to move them into a little sun and little more each day after that until they are in their permanent home. Be sure to mulch them before starting the transplanting process so their soil may retain the moisture when you water them. |

Grow strawberries EASY!
I got some strawberry starts from Walmart and they were an EPIC FAIL they were dry looked dead and never came back to life after planting. These strawberry starts from Hand Picked Nursery were absolutely beautiful and took off in no time. It really pays to go with a reputable company who knows what they are doing. I buy these every single growing season absolutely love their strawberry starts. You can be a complete beginner and you will be growing strawberries in no time!

Looking good
I had never planted anything ever in my life. I woke up one day and realized how bored I was and wanted to try my hand at gardening. Strawberries was on my list of 6 plants to start with. I'm sure I did everything wrong. I received them and dove in head first. I didn't soak them, I didn't separate the roots. I just crammed them all into the soil and covered them up. By sheer luck I didn't bury the crown (yes, I've researched more since planting them). On top of all of this, I buried them on a rainy day, with more rainy days to follow. That was 7 days ago. This picture is after 7 days since planting and they are doing beautifully, even for someone that has no idea what she's doing. Even for a novice, these strawberry plants are thriving. Just look at those bright green colors. I will be a returning customer. I can't wait to see how this goes.

Overall arrived healthy but....
First off, I really appreciated how quickly the Strawberry Roots arrived in the mail. Other people said they were bothered by the amount of time it took to ship, however I purchased Strawberry Roots from another seller and it took closer to a week to arrive, so I really appreciated the shipping. All of the roots looked really healthy, and I thought they would be fine, but 6 roots seem like they won’t survive, i’m still crossing my fingers but bummed that so many aren’t thriving. I apologize to the seller, I wanted to contact you personally before posting this message but I have yet to figure out how to contact you. I do not even know what the berries are like, will it bear fruit next spring or this year? It is everbearing, it might still bear fruit before winter which is what I am hoping but I guess I will just see. I would still consider buying from this seller again because the roots came in really healthy looking and obviously buying the roots you cannot necessarily fault the seller unless they put unhealthy roots in the package which is not the case.

Excellent looking plants but.........
I ordered 10 plants . All but 2 of them were live plants. The other 2 are struggling. They started off small and weak and will, in all probability, will remain so. That's not a good average but not bad either. I ordered from other places and 90 percent of the plants just never grew.

Very healthy plants
My plants arrived today. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. I was nervous, because it took almost 9 days for me to receive my plants once mailed, I just knew they would be dead on arrival but all my plants arrived with little green leaves. All the plants look very healthy. I'm so excited for strawberries in the spring.I know there are conflicting information on what to do with them after they arrive, some say to plant right away some say to soak them. I chose to soak since I'm waiting on my planting tower. These little guys perked up so nice in just 24 hours, when I put them in the pot with water they didn't come over rim of the pot. Just look at the picture in less than 24 hours they are searching for the sun.Update: second picture is 3 week growth after putting in dirt. I'm still very pleased. Will keep updating this review until I get strawberries.Update: delivered on September 25th and on November 6th I have my first 🌼 flowerUpdate: Ive bought twice from this grower. My first shipment all the plants survived and my second order I only lost two plants. I live in South Georgia, we did have a hard frost a few times and I covered the plants, all did wonderfully over the winter. Im growing them in baby pools since strawberries dont need deep pots to grow. I pinched off the flowers all winter to help the plant grow and stopped doing this in February. Being their first year Im not expecting much but I get a few strawberries I can pick each day. So far Im very happy with my purchase.

Not thriving at all
This is the second time I attempted to grow these. Last year they arrived quite late and did not do well as soon as I plated them outside. I credited the weather for their lack of thrive and left it at that. This year I ordered them early as I knew it will take a long time to deliver. I got 9, soaked them in water, and they started to sprout. As soon as I planted them outside, they stated withering away, although they were watered regularly to ensure they can take root. Now I have only two that kind of hang on. Seems like I got a bad patch both time…
