Janneau Armagnac VS Tradition, 700 ml

I tried Armagnac years ago .. but became a Cognac drinker until I recalled how pleasant and slightly sweeter I found the Armagnac in a chat with friends. I bought this brand and the VS version and fell in love after the first glass! It's nectar and has the boldness of Cognac Brandy, but also possesses a slight sweetness and rustic charm. On balance .. I still like both, as I like beef and lamb but will now order more Armagnac than Cognac Armagnac is older .. [around 700 years old] and distilled once retaining that 14th century rural - homemade mouth feel. I like it anyway?.. ha ha!!

Excellent value for money. Ovr given some of this to two friends who dont like brandy!!!!. . ...however they loved it loke me. It doesnt burn, its lovrly n smooth, lovrly caramely taste

Excellent Armagnac

Have ordered before. Like the flavour.

I bought this for my grandads 80th birthday and of all the bottles of brandy he got this is the one he kept sneeking a glass of while my nan was not looking. Had a glass with him and it was a nice and smooth drink with a pleasant after taste. Will buy again for sure.

Never tried a Armagnac brandy before but had bought good 5star brandys and also bought good champagne Cognac so bought what i thought would be the basic armagnac the Janneau Armagnac VS to try and found for the price it was a smoth and outstanding taste brandy can well recommend it.

Don’t drink it all at once even though it is very nice

I was looking for something a bit like martell vs but a bit nicer/different. I had never tried an armagnac before so gave this a try and it was just what I was looking for. I dont like too much wood flavour in my brandy so this vs was just right.
