Very powerful antenna for local channels
Bought this antenna to pull in whatever local channels are available so we can ditch cable in our new home. We have Sling and opted to use this antenna and AirTV to add our local channels. We are about 26 miles from a cluster of stations in one direction, 33 miles from a few in a different direction and 44 miles from a few others. Of the 64 channels that we should be able to pull in, this unit pulls in 58 of them. Pretty impressive. The unit is mounted on a shelf in our attic approx. 24 feet above ground level. It is a multi-directional antenna which I have aimed roughly at the largest cluster of broadcasters 26 miles away. We pull in all of those stations plus a bunch of others in different directions. We cannot receive broadcasts reliably from 2 stations that are over 50 miles away, but we can get them some of the time. All in all, very happy with this. It is probably overkill for our area, but at our last house, we could only get a hand full of stations from a much smaller antenna and we were less than 20 miles from the towers.

Does what it says.
Pulls in stations 20 miles away with high resolution. Using splitter to connect two TVs. Works well.

works on uhf staations
Great antenna. I bought a cheap one first and it would not pick up my local stations that were UHF and within 18 miles. The Antop 400BV said it worked for both UHF and VHF and it does and it picks up all the time and is easy to install, Since I was cutting the cable it was worth the expense to get great quality It tells you where to position the antenna so no guessing and it works all the time and it is amplified with a switch.

Get the picture
This is the best antenna I've tried. I set it up in a second floor bedroom window with a clear view before mounting it outside. The signal strength is good. I did have to change some picture settings on my TV to improve the picture quality. With other antennas I always had problems getting a good signal for CBS in my area. I live in Northwest Indiana about 20 miles outside of Chicago. This antenna give best picture I've ever had with the CBS signal so I'm very satisfied. I don't write many reviews but l feel comfortable recommending this product.

Great antenna for difficult reception areas + very good picture quality.
Bought this for my dad as he has tried several antenna with little success. He is 60 miles from towers. The most stations he had gotten from the variety of other styles and ranges of antenna was 6 or 7. With this one he has 33! He lives in an apartment, we ended up having to put this antenna outside on his patio. Definitely recommend if you have not had success with other antennas.

Lasted a year and stopped working.
I can't believe I fell for all the fake reviews on here. If copy this URL into fakespot they get a C rating for fake reviews. This worked for a year and the the amplifier just stopped working. Oh, and when it did work it couldn't pick up channels 17 miles away.

Worked well for me!
I tried several different antennas with a variety of price points. We wanted to cut the cable, and this antenna finally allowed us to do just that! This has been by far the best antenna that I tried. I received only a few additional channels, but was able to get them placing the antenna in a more desirable spot in my house. I've attached this antenna to the Amazon Recast, and along with a Philo subscription, I certainly don't miss cable! I've had this antenna for a year now and it still works well. The amplifier does make a difference in what channels I get, so it's plugged in all the time. I would deduct half a star if possible because I actually get worse reception when attaching the included VHF rods. I simply don't use them.
