Very cute design. Not too loud of a sound, kind of relaxing actually. Fun little stocking stuffer for babies.

Great toy for my 6 month old grandson. The noise isn't loud or scary. It's suttle and the toy is good quality. I would recommend this.

Our infant son really likes this toy. He is fascinated when he sees things inside something else move around. The size and shape of this toy is a great fit for him and he was able to hold it up briefly and play with it even at 5 months. He is in the 97th percentile for his size and with decent fine motor skills for his age but I imagine that most kids should be able to play with this toy by 6-7 month mark. It's very well made, end caps are wood, the plastic is thick and smooth and the sound it makes is not overly annoying. The only negative I can think of is that some of the little beads inside get electrostatically charged and stick to the spinning fixtures. This doesn't take away from the overall experience and therefore is not worth taking off a star for. It would just annoy someone with an undiagnosed mild OCD such as myself ;-) I would recommend this to any parent with an inquisitive infant or a toddler who is also preferably relatively careful with things (ie their favorite activity is NOT throwing things across the room). If this thing gets thrown around a lot it would probably get quite annoying. A Skwish may be a more appropriate toy for kids who enjoy smashing things on the floor.

She likes to watch and listen to it so guess it's doing what it's designed to do 😀
