Models for Writers: Short Essays for Composition

THERE ARE NO PAGE NUMBERS, just "locations" that have no baring on where you are in the book since they jump around randomly. do not buy this book if you are in a class that follows it closely. it is poorly formatted. ive refunded my money thankfully. hopefully enough bad reviews will force the writers to fix the numerous issues.

Occasionally I like to take a writing class at a local community college just to hone my skills in my professional career. This book was necessary for one of the classes I took and it got the job done. We hardly used it, although that is because of the professor - not the book. Obviously this isn't a book that you will buy unless you have to. I would recommend buying used or renting if possible.

Missing parts of the ebook! This is awful! I paid $40 for a book I can't even read!!!

Whoever designed it this way has got to be one of the biggest idiots out there. This is a textbook and professors give page numbers, not section titles. I don't have time to be flipping through the sections trying to find what they're talking about if I have an open book quiz on a specific set of pages.In addition, entire chapters of the book are just blacked out. Impossible to deal with.

The ebook is extremely buggy. It repeats the same few pages at random. After going through 15-20 cycles of this then the page will turn to a random spot in the book. You're not able to get back to the page you need. So far this has happened on my android phone and tablet and my PC. I had to rent the physical book. Its way too buggy. I strongly recommend not getting the ebook. Returns are only available for 7 days so now I'm stuck with an ebook that I can't use. Very disappointing. I would like to get my money back. Plus there's no page numbers.

I downloaded the book to my Kindle (yes, my kindle is updated) and there are pages missing and cut off sources. I know this because I'm comparing it to another student's book. This is awful! And frustrating. Requesting a refund please.

Its a great book and really helps you. You just have to know that if you are purchasing it for a mini semester it's probably not even worth it to buy it. I would recommend to rent it

Needed this for class, condition ended up being better than described!
