Would be better if the height was taller. String disintegrated outdoors.
It seems to be made with good quality materials and is durable. Provided enough zip ties. However, it's annoying that its height is less than 3 feet. Most balconies are much taller than 3 feet. Doesn't make sense that this net (and other nets in Amazon) is made to be less than 3 feet. Makes the balcony area look ugly and leaves the top part exposed and unsafe. Would give it more stars if the height was more in line the general height of balconies.Update: one of the strings disintegrated under the sun, so be wary of using the strings outdoors.

Easy to put up, does the job.
Bought to keep my small dog safe on my apartment patio. It works, only complaint is that I wish more zip ties we're included. The strings they provide are pretty worthless.

Worked for my cats
I have an older cat that needed to be confined upstairs. I used this along the railing so she wouldn't jump down on the stairs between the spindles. It took a little configuring but it came with both white zip ties and white strings to attach to whatever you need to. It looks good since my railings are white and the netting is white. So far so good and my kitty is safe while I'm at work.

Ugly but efficient.
Very ugly and tacky looking, but keeps my child safe and so gets the job done.

Works as it should
Kept my son from throwing toys down the stairs for several months. Then he got tall enough to throw them over. But good piece of mind that he wouldn’t put his body through the spindles.

Poor advertizing !! Does not fit along entire railing. Would need 2. Very misleading !!!!!!!!
