Opies Black Cherries with Kirsch 2x370g

I use these in certain desserts. An occasional Winter favourite is hot cherries with stewed plums and stem ginger (also Opies). Just chop up a few plums add a couple of tablespoons of cherries and one cube of very finely sliced stem ginger. I also add a small splash of cherry brandy liqueur and a little of the stem ginger syrup from the jar. Heat up for a few minutes in a saucepan until the plums are soft but not mushy and serve up with custard or luxury thick Greek style yoghurt.

Wonderful taste with plenty of succulent stoneless cherries.

Minimum purchase is three and they are not something you eat every day so a shelf life of more than 3 months would be better for me. Having said that the cherries are delicious and it won’t be too much of a hardship to eat them sooner rather than later. Do wish you could be told of the use by dates on items we purchase online that are edible so we could make informed decisions on what to purchase

I used these cherries to make a delicious Black Forest Gateau for my boyfriends birthday. Whilst constructing the cake, I also used some of the cherries and syrup to make a delicious prosecco cocktail! Everyone loved the cake including myself! Will definitely order again, maybe for Black Forest cupcakes next time ;)

Did not dislike anything about this product. I brought it to put in my 40 plus daughters christmas stocking and she asked me to get her some more.

I always make a cherry and amaretti biscuit trifle for xmas and was having a lot of bother trying to find the main ingredients then remembered you had food stuff hurrah !! Just hope I get the biscuits in time 🤞🤞🤞

These are a rare treat for me but a few cherries and some juice poured over a scoop of icecream or even just over some whipped cream is delicious.
