All About Peter (Peter Rabbit)

This is my second time ordering this book, after the first one because victim to a middle of the night stomach bug…my 2 year old got this in his Easter basket last year and he loves it so much! The book being in the shape of Peter Rabbit is very fun. At bed time we pop Peter’s ears up over the edge of the bed before reading and it cracks my son up! The story itself is a very quick and easy read, so it is a good follow up to a longer and more complex story.

My granddaughter loves this book. Unfortunately to much as this is my third purchase because she keeps folding the head off the book. I whish they could reinforce the cardboard head a little better.

My one year old loves the simple pattern of the story, the thick pages that are easy for him to flip, and the size and shape of the book.

So I bought this in person shopping for books at a discount store while I was pregnant with my daughter. It is adorable but it's "fluff" reading material. There's not much of a story to it. the kids will probably enjoy it because it's shaped like a bunny. my daughter is currently turning 8 months old soon so she really can't voice her opinion but she likes to chew on the ears of this book. you know it's shaped like a bunny so the ear part she likes to put in her mouth I have to constantly make sure I'm taking that out of her mouth so it's not getting misshapen and gross. Account ed correctly I believe I counted 45 words in the book. When you read it it feels like there's like 10 words. 😂 Maybe 15, not much substance to it at all, just cute. I like fluff material I'm not a huge reader when I read to my kids I wanted to either rhyme or just be cute. I'm a busy mom I'm trying to make the most of being together with my family so I want my kids to remember that I read to them, but I don't really like to read to them, do you get what I mean. I do like reading to them just not reading a huge novel to them. I'm what they call an Amazon prime Mom I'm not a Pinterest mom, am I allowed to say that here? Lol.

My one year old loves this book. It’s the one she chooses over and over. The illustrations are sweet and the words provide simple descriptions of who the characters are and what actions they are doing. She enjoys pointing to the various elements.

She carried it all around with her. The text is pleasing and not much for parents to read before bed.

THis is not the whole story of Peter Rabbit. Its really dumbed down. The book is uniquely shapped. That's about it.
