Camera Sensor & Lens Cleaning Kits (Full Frame)

I'd never had my SLR sensor cleaned before... a recent workshop on close-up / macro imagery revealed every single image had the same universe of dust spots and teensy hairs; a real headache of careful editing, needed on every image. With a photo vacation coming soon, I didn't want to have to repeat that tedious spot-removal on every image, so I ordered the kit. I watched the video (per the instructions) first, and felt far more confident I could do this (despite having it ingrained since digital cameras began, "never touch the sensor or peril will befall you!")My 1 caveat; one cleaning wasn't enough. I used 1 pair of wet-then-dry swipes; then I remounted the lens and fired a new test shot. Much of the original specks and hairs were gone -- but in the process, new ones appeared (in new locations in the image.) I ultimately went through 4 pairs (of the 5 pairs included) of the swipes. I had a feeling that either I was knocking new debris onto the sensor (when I carefully inserted the swipe) or my workspace is just constantly raining down dust I can't see, and some fell onto the sensor.In the end, I would say I eliminated 98% of the initial specks. There are one or two left (showing up when I fired a new test image) but I can easily handle that in post-editing.And that is the reason for my 4-star (instead of 5) -- I think the kit is a bit overpriced, for providing only 5 pairs of sensor swabs, given that I had to burn through 4 of them to reach my 98% point.But - I'd consider it successful enough, that I'd likely order another kit the next time I see the specks piling up...

Never had the nerve to touch your sensor? Me neither. And I've been doing photography for a long time. But I got the package and there were very CLEAR and EXPLICIT instructions on how to use the kit. The whole cleaning process takes less than 5 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend this kit. Trust me...if I can do this, I know you can. The guy behind this is a professional and is really serious about 2 things: Helping folks be good photographers and his reputation. BUY IT! :-)

These cleaning kits are super! I was very concerned about cleaning my sensor and lenses. Using this product was easy, quick and effective. If you want good results search no further. I will be re-purchasing these kits as needed. I have a Nikon D810 and D850 and the photos are superb. No more spots from dirty lens or sensor.
