Great fit for those of us with long arms. Soft, great quality.

Let me start by saying I’ve had this top almost 3 years.As a tall gal that’s always cold, this top is a ride or die for me. Completely non-itchy, soft and breathable but keeps me warm.When I do move around more, I’m never hot in it. (Looking at you, polyester)I got the black. It’s SO versatile and has not faded. I use it layering for skiing, with jeans and boots or converse for running errands, and even paired it with a cream and black silk skirt for a dressier occasion.When it’s cold in our house (it always is, I’m married to a snowman who thinks 63° is a perfectly acceptable constant indoor temperature) I pair it with a vest or light jacket. Sometimes I even sleep in it.It has all of the chic of a black cashmere sweater, but easier to wear (due to its thinness) and far more durable. LOVE. IT.I should add, it is fitted but is far from tight. It fits like a perfect t-shirt. It is ever so slightly sheer.

I’m a curvy girl and I don’t love fitted shirts that hug like spandex and I love that this brand is fitted, not oversized, but relaxed enough not to show the contour of my belly button or muffin top. The wool is lightweight, not itchy, and high quality. I bought it in 3 colors and wore them everyday on a February Scottish road trip. We had temps ranging from 40-70 degrees Fahrenheit and this was perfect for layering under sweaters or wearing alone on warm days. It’s great to rewear on trips without laundry access with the merino benefits! Highly recommend! I’m a size 10/12 , 5’2” with 38 DDD and I bought the XL and it’s a nice relaxed flattering fit. Worth the investment!

While the top fit well, it itched around the seams surrounding the neck. I returned it.

Perfect underlayer. Looks good enough to go it alone too. Wicks sweat away well and does not easily hold odor. Great active base layer.

Nice weight to wear under clothing for extra warmth using wool instead of poly mixes

I’ve now bought 3 Icebreaker long sleeve base layer women’s tops. Originally, to wear for outdoors activities, I’m so hooked on the comfort, breath ability, non-odor properties, I’m wearing Merino tops almost daily. Perfect for layering to keep warm, or single layer to keep cool and comfortable. I buy them on sale here to save, but they’re worth the investment in quality clothing. I’ve also purchased Smartwool version - both brands are excellent.

This material is not merino wool. It is scratchy, stretches and becomes saggy after wearing, it's see through, and the biggest clue is that it smells bad after 1 wear, which is not like the many other Icebreaker merino wool items that I have owned throughout the years.
