Pretty good all round
I thought I'd leave it a few weeks before reviewing these and they are actually pretty good. Waterproof, comfy, very warm. My only niggle is that you'll need to double bow them as the laces are slippery and they keep coming undone. All in all worth the money though. Would buy again.

Excellent for the price, good for occasional use!
I bought these boots with one thing in mind - to test run them before 4 days in Sweden next February watching the World Rally Championship. To test them, I wore them for 4 days following the Wales WRC Rally last weekend in the Welsh forests - walked through numerous bogs, and puddles, a total of 30 miles, wore them for about 40 hours along tracks, gravel and while driving between stages. I didn't wear any other footwear, and I wore 2 pairs of socks with them (changed daily). I am no stranger to the mountains - I regularly use boots that cost 6 or 7 times as much as the £21 asking price for these, so feel able to give an accurate account of the boots using both experience and testing "out in the field". Let's cover size 1st. I ordered 1 size over (11 when I am a wide 10). This was based on feedback from other buyers. I found them to be very spacious - maybe over by 1/2 a size. For winter, I would wear 2 thicker pairs of socks, but I think they would still be too big. My feet moved around in them, but I had no blisters - probably due to the comfortable lining. I also found them to be mostly comfortable. - 1st tick for my winter trip to Sweden. Next, to the sole: The grip was excellent, no matter where I walked - either on wet mossy tree trunks or rocky ground, they felt sure and grippy - another tick for the upcoming winter rally! However, this is where the fatal floor in these cheap boots lie - the thickness of the sole is very poor. I could feel every bump under foot - not uncomfortably, but that gremlin is there non-the-less. This points to a greater issue - lack of quality build and insulated innersole. The lining: This feels lovely and warm to start with, but soon moves around in the boot and becomes compressed in the sole area. I can feel the ridge construction with my fingers. Again, a no-no for colder climates. Construction - The grips started to wear after the 3rd day, but not by much. The lace-ups are worth while, and were of average construction - I'd go for these over the velcro. They only got wet on the third day when I went into deep water. This meant that on the last day the boots absolutely stank of cheap plastic (no-where to dry them). Maybe this would happen to any boot, and wouldn't be a deal clencher for cold, dry powder snow. So would I use them for 4 days in the Swedish wilderness? No. They are for occasional use - this pair I have will be chucked away as are pretty much worn out and wouldn't stand another outing. Would I buy an new pair for Sweden? Again the answer in NO. They just aren't well enough constructed to risk hurting my feet. I would use them for dog walking etc and get a good 6 moths use out of this £21 welly. The good news - I was impressed with this style of boot, and am going to spend twice as much and get what I believe will be the perfect boot for my trip to Sweden in the winter.

Does everything that it says in the description online !
Lightweight, warm, waterproof and comfy. Put these through hell working with horses (although don't let them tread on your toes !) Great value and definitely buying another pair as future backup !

Disappointing - Not made to last.
Bought on 8 January, 2024 - Binned them on 15, March, 2024. Their description stated "UPPER: Constructed using high quality premium materials making them more comfortable and durable ensuring your boots stand the test of time." Total rubbish! The upper rubber cracked where it meets the sole (as seen in my photos) on BOTH left and right boots. I am a delivery man and wore them six days a week... expecting them to withstand the legwork... which they clearly didn't. Also, while the inside is faux-fur lined, they're not really warm... and they have no padded / thermal insoles or midsoles which means you can feel the cold coming through the hard soles with little to no padding between the soles of your feet and the bottom soles of the boots. Seriously, don't waste your money... even if you think they are good value. Like all the other 'fast-fashion' clothing out there, they'll just end up in the bin (and further polluting the planet in landfills.)
