Convenient and Easy to Use
I've been using these patches for quite some time on my handguns, and they do the trick quite well. They work with a wide range of calibers. They're easy to use with the Otis cleaning system. Just insert the brass slotted tip through one of the patch's slots, pinch the patch upward on the edge (the further from the slotted tip, the bigger the swab), fish through the slotted tip, and pull up. This forms a bulb shape creating a 360 degree cleaning surface. They do leave a few fiber strands behind but it's not a deal breaker. They're still quite tough.I've never been a fan of cleaning my firearms' barrels using rods. I feel they can do more harm than good such as damaging the rifling inside your barrel. I highly recommend using these patches and the Otis firearms cleaning kit.

Excellent But Pricey
Very good: tough, reusable, but too much moolah for what you get. Having said that, I expect to get pretty good use out of the product. BTW, the Otis patches are the best thing about the system. The bore brushes--while being very workable once you've stripped your weapon--are nearly impossible to feed through the breech on the cable, unless one breaks the gun down. This is true on my Glock 19, as well as on my PPS. And the whole point was to be able to clean the barrel without breaking it down before I live the range or the field. I bought the Otis Ripcord for a quick clean--while the barrel is still warm--and it works well. I'll use the Otis Cleaning system, which I would have to give only 2-3 stars, since I've already bought it, but I'd recommend the ripcord for quick field cleaning, and then a more thorough cleaning later on. If I've got to strip the gun to clean it--no big deal--it's just as easy to use a rod and a jag to push a cheap patch. Having said that--this patch will work with the cable with the pistol racked, but you really will have to break your gun down to easily feed the bore brush through from breech to muzzle. I'm think about cutting the brushes in my Otis kit to make them fit into the breech more easily. Anyone else out there take this approach?

Multi caliber patch from OTIS
Fold according to instructions. There are some very good videos on this, vary the "pinch point" where the patch doubles back into the eyelet for a large range of calibers. Pressed for space or time? Just grab your OTIS pack.

Too thick
When used following their directions these will not fit through the barrel.
