Old obsolete style
Nothing wrong with it but I learned that the government put more regulations on the canned refrigerant in 2018, making the design of the can and therefore the hose/valve different. This is for the old obsolete puncture cans. It will not work with the self sealing kind. I had to get an adapter to be able to use this. These must be surplus or perhaps the old puncture cans are still being used elsewhere, not in the USA

Easy to use
It's simple made, don't expect any high end materials. It does his job and not only once. I recommend it! 2 👍up!

Worked fine
Worked great. It's a dumb hose.

Just buy a manifold gauge or the recharge kits from AutoZone this isn't worth it
Does not work, does not release refrigerant if you tighten the bottle too tight. Absolutely strange behavior from this thing, if I loosen the bottle from TOO TIGHT to not too tight, the Freon starts shooting out of the ball port, despite it not being connected to anything. Meaning I lost so much out of one can going into the air, I'm also sure it wasn't pushing the pin down enough to push refrigerant in I ended up throwing away a can because of this, should have just bought a manifold gauge.

Not that great but worked
It works but I had to fiddle with the valve. It got me out of a jam but I think I wouldve rather spent a few more dollars for a better quality one

Here are two quick tips for smooth operation: - Charging Port Connector: The outer ring of the connector can be easily pulled up to attach to your car’s A/C low-pressure port. Be sure to pull it firmly to ensure a secure grip—this step is crucial for proper connection. - R134a Can Connector: To puncture the can, turn the connector’s pin clockwise until it pierces the seal. Then, during refrigerant charging, rotate the pin counterclockwise gradually to allow the R134a to flow. Once the flow begins, the entire 16 oz of refrigerant is drawn in within seconds !
