Vanishing Acts (A Maggie Brooklyn Mystery)

I was having a difficult time finding something my daughter would really enjoy reading. She loves this series. Good little mysteries and she can identify with the main character and her love for dogs.

Okay so this book looked right up my 10 year old daughters alley with pets and mystery and adventure all wrapped up so I got it and she ended up loving it so much we got the next and the next! She already read this whole series and we want more from this author .. it was so cute & good book for her age . Going to do like I always do when we love a good book and paste my review on the whole series since we bought them one by one.

I bought the three books in this series for my grand daughter’s ninth birthday. I gave them to her a week ago. I asked her today if she was able to read a bit of one. She said, “Yes, I finished the third one yesterday.” She read all 3 in one week. She loved them!

Sent as a gift to my husband's granddaughter. She is a young beginner at chapter books, and a lively child. She reports she really liked the two Maggie Brooklyn mysteries we sent her. It is difficult to choose gifts for grandchildren who live far away, and whom we see so seldom, but this one hit the right note, and probably will lead to the family purchase of others in the series.

We bought this for my daughter last december for christmas. I wasnt sure if she'd be interested in it, she had just turned 9 at the time and is an avid reader (has already read most of the Harry Potter books.) I'm always looking for something that will keep her attention. We bought several of these books, and unlike many others that have been collecting dust on the shelves, as of a couple months ago she is still reading these and keeps them out. She has remarked several times about things going on in the story and that she likes the books.

I bought this book and another one for our nieces and they love this book series. I mean what is there not to love about these books? A mystery series -- The young girl is the hero -- The story is engaging -- and best of all we get the best thank you hugs because of it.

Got it for my niece for her birthday. She loves dogs, dog walking so it was perfect for her. She loved it was a mystery too. I got her all three in her series

I thought this book was better than the last one because the author put so many big details but made them fit perfectly, like a jigsaw puzzle. It has a tiny (I mean tiny but you decide for your child) bit of romance between two characters but the rest is totally age appropriate. Have fun reading guys!

I really like this book it's brilliant I recommend it to anyone . If you haven't read it you must read it.x

this book was good, it has character, some good words and the story idea is good too. but, the story didn't really come alive, it didn't make me imagine. it was good, but it could be better. I reckoned this book to anyone who reads books such as Mallory towers

l loved this book because of all the different moods that are blended together as well as never knowing what will happen next! A great book by Leslie Margolis!
