Carlson Elite Omega 3 Gems, 1600mg, Lemon Flavored, 240 Softgels

I had read on an on-line site that evaluated different fish oil products, that this one is one of the cleanest and best. I like that you can bite into them and chew on them because they are quite large and they have a nice lemon flavor. I like this product better than the liquid fish oil that we used to take. We are very happy with Carlson Elite Omega 3 Gems.

I believe it is in your interest to know as much as in mine. I made a question regarding the LOT # and batch # that we as consumers would think to be indicated on the bottle received as those #s are identifiable in IFOS for assurance on those heavy metal tests. Per Carlson's response, "Thank you for contacting us. Please keep in mind not all batches are going to be sent to IFOS for testing. The lot number printed on the product bottle will not match the lot numbers listed on the IFOS reports. The lot numbers listed on the IFOS reports are bulk lot numbers from when we receive the product. We designate our own lot numbers to bulk lots as we package and label them. There can be multiple lot numbers assigned to one bulk lot. Every bulk lot of product is tested a minimum of once, sometimes two or three times, for the same parameters depicted in the IFOS reports, however it is not always through the IFOS program. The same standards apply to every bulk lot that we receive and we do not release the product for sale unless our specifications are met. So, while lot numbers listed on the IFOS website are not seen on our products, the bulk lots that are listed there are representative of all of our products and you can be assured that all our products meet the same standards. Not the cheapest but found this recommended by Dr Peter Attia. I just started with it - no burly aftertaste or smell. Recommend it!

A person can't really go wrong with this company. It's been around a long time and they stand behind their products. It's not like I can say that I feel a difference because I take these. I really can't. But...what i can say...is that I'm very healthy. I haven't had Covid. In fact...I haven't been sick at all in over 5-years. And that's about when I started purchasing products from this company. Are they the reason I'm healthy? Maybe. But I'm gonna continue taking them because I'm confident there's something to it. I really do give their supplements some of the credit for my good health.

I like Carlson Omega 3 gems, they have a good dose of omegas in each capsule. As with all fish oil, the caps are large, but with Carlson there's no nasty burping or aftertaste. I keep mine in the frig for freshness. Carlson has clean manufacturing processes, so I feel confident that they don't contain heavy metals.

I would compare these to Metagenics Omegagenics EPA-DHA. The only difference is that these ones cause a tad bit of fishy burps. But as far as quality goes, I feel as good taking these ones as I do taking Metagenics ones. Plus, they're cheaper. Is you can stand a little fishy burp action, you might find these to be a suitable alternative to Metagenics, like I have.

I complained to my eye doctor that i had severe dry eyes and he recommended that I take omega 3s. I tried the most popular and highly recommended brand it worked great. I took 6 a day. After awhile, it no longer worked and I one day when i opened the bottle, I noticed it smelled funny. I opened a new bottle and it smelled awful, also. I went to the health food store and returned it for a new bottle. I opened it in the store at customer service counter and it also smelled awful. So that is when I tried Carlson's Omega 3 fish oil. Fortunately, they passed the smell test and even better they solved my dry eyes once again. It is fortunate that I figured out the problem but I wonder about the quality and consistency of the other supplements I take that are for preventative purposes so I really don't know if they are working. I hope one day supplements are inspected and have to meet standards.

This product was directed for use by my doctor. I have been using it for over a year and my doctor is very satisfied with my health.
