The Clearest safety mirror on the market.
When I opened this mirror for the car I could not believe how big and clear it is. The mounting in the car is easy, the quality is great, it helps me see my baby nice and clearly, the screen is large and provides peace of mind as a mom to see him in the back. it is light weight. I bought two more for other cars to use. This is a great buy and if you need to give to a new mom I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase!
I bought this mirror to be able to see what my 5 month old granddaughter was up to in the back seat of my car. She only rides in it a few times a week but I felt an investment in a mirror would be a wise thing, especially since babies ride rear facing for so much longer nowadays. Her mother (my daughter) rode rear facing for less than a year, which was what was customary and recommended 30+ years ago. Now it is for at least 2 years and that is a long time not to see what's going on back there! This mirror is terrific! It is quite large which makes seeing her so easy. The mirror surface, while not glass (for safety's sake) is distortion free and was protected by an easy to remove film so it was clean and unscratched. It was very easy to install on my rear headrest with woven straps and secure adjustable buckles-one for up and down and one for side to side. The best thing for her is that she now sees "another" baby in the back to entertain her. And one day down the road she will realize that she can see me as well. I couldn't be happier. No, it isn't the least expensive such mirror that is available but I believe it is an excellent value and I like the fact that the seller is a small family owned company. Give it a try. You can always return it if you're not satisfied, but I cannot imagine why you would!

Very sturdy, works well in any position
We received a different mirror on our baby registry, one of the kinds that uses a single strap and a wire that you're supposed to bend in place to keep the mirror in position. It was beyond useless. The wire was entirely too flimsy to hold the weight of the mirror, and having only a single strap meant is couldn't be held tight at all. After some searching, I decided to try this one, and we couldn't be happier. These mirrors use two straps, one vertical and one horizontal, so it's held nice and tight to the head rest. The center pivot is tight enough that the mirror has never slipped out of position once while driving, even over bumps and potholes. In my car, it's mounted on the center headrest. My wife's car doesn't have a center headrest, so it's mounted to the rear passenger side headrest and angle over to see our daughter in the center seat. In both cases visibility is excellent, with no wobbling noticeable, and the slight convex shape is just enough to give a wide field of view without bad distortion. Overall, I couldn't be happier with these.

The BEST baby mirror out there!
This mirror is incredible!! The mirror is remarkably simple to install (literally takes less than five minutes), and the mirror is large and clear. My favorite feature is the pivoting mounting piece that you can swivel and adjust for the perfect view of your little person. I have tried other, less expensive mirrors in the past, and they either slid off the headrest, or the mirror was distorted and small, making it difficult to view my baby. With this mirror, clarity and accessibility is not a problem. My only regret: that I'm purchasing this for my third child as opposed to my first! I love it so much, that I just bought two more mirrors for my husband's and parents' cars. Well worth the price.

Tried three baby mirrors - this one was a close 2nd.
Initiay I bought one car seat mirror -the “Baby & Mom Rear View Baby Mirror”. It was such total crap and UNSAFE that I decided I would try two more in the next order just to have a better chance of finding one that was safe. This “So Pee Fully Adjustable Convex Wide View Baby Car Mirror” and the “Cozy Greens Baby Car Mirror”. The pivoting clip that the Baby&Mom mirror has to make it adjustable is a major flaw. YOU need to slide the thin square piece, which is on the end of a thin plastic pin, into a plastic slot. Once you finally get it in the least little movement pops it out again. Just trying to hold it in my hand as I walked down the hall to get it to the car was a feat of balance. Did I really want to trust this flimsy piece of plastic to not fall on the head of my baby granddaughter?? The answer was no. Since my car is a Toyota Camry whose back seat head rests are non-adjustable I decided I would be best off with a rotating, adjustable mirror, but after the poor design of the Baby&Mom one, I wondered if they all would be so flimsy. I am grateful aht I am an Amazon Prime member, so I could order and get free returns, so I tried two more of the same design and kept me fingers crossed that I could find something which worked but would not fall on my granddaughter’s head. Am a very happy to say that both So Pee’s “Fully Adjustable Convex Wide View Baby Car Mirror” and Cozy Green’s “Baby Car Mirror” had a rotating design which was fully solid! Both had the rotating ball mechanism fully installed and sealed, nothing you had to put in and pray it would not slip out. If I only ordered the So Pee’s “Fully Adjustable Convex Wide View Baby Car Mirror”, I would have been happy with it, especially after the Baby&Mom’s piece of junk. It was sturdy, I could get it on my non-adjustable head rest, I could adjust it to a good angle, and even more importantly, I was confidant that it would not fall on my granddaughter’s head. Then I tried Cozy Green’s “Baby Car Mirror”. It too was sturdy, I could get it on my non-adjustable head rest, I could adjust it to a good angle, and I was also confidant that it would not fall on my granddaughter’s head. While So Pee had a good mirror, I likd Cozy Green’s better. So Pee had the larger mirror size-wise, yet my granddaughter appeared smaller in it. Obviously if you are putting in a baby mirror you want to easily see the baby, so I liked Cozy Green’s mirror better. I also liked this mirror better because of the straps were. So Pee’s straps were in a cross – Up, doen, left, right. Cozy Green’s straps were diagonal, like an X. Since my Camry’s head rest does not move up, I had to finagle it to be able to attach well to my head rest. Cozy’s Green’s X design easily fit very snugly around my headrest. Depending on the design of your headrest, this might be a non-issue for you. I was baby-sitting my granddaughter twice a week all summer and this has been wonderful. Made the mirror into a non-issue. The pivot was easy to adjust as my granddaughter got a bit bigger. Just recently my daughter had a baby and was struggling trying to put in a mirror which was given to her as a present. It was one that had a strap which was supposed to go through a hole in the headrest, but she had no hole. After working on it for a good 10 mins I told her I would be sending her a better one. Of course I sent her THIS one ☺ To summarize: Baby&Mom – 0 stars if I could; total crap. I hate to give negative reviews, but when it comes to the safety of a baby, I will say the truth even if it hurts the manufacturer. A mirror itself is not a matter of safety or not, but when it comes down to possibility falling on a baby’s head while traveling in the car, it is not worth the risk. Many of the positive reviews state they received a free or reduced-cost item. Note: Many of the negative reviews have a comment from the manufacturer saying they will give a full refund if they remove the review – so just how many more negative reviews should there be?? Obviously this manufacturer is in it only for the money, and does not care what could happen to the baby. Get one yourself if you must just to see – it is not a matter of a “defective” product as the manufacturer wants you to believe, it is a DESIGN FLAW. So Pee: 4 stars. Nice and solid, but the larger mirror did not give a larger reflection, actually gave a smaller size head, and more of other things that did not matter. The up-down-left-right straps were not the best for my headrest which does not go up and down. Cozy Green: 5 stars. Nice, Solid, large view of the baby. X-design of the straps work best for my headrest.

Large and easy to adjust! My baby loves to look into it. A bit tough to clip on in my truck, easier when we could access from back in the hatchback.
