I ordered this item hoping that it might fit my RHD 97 Hilux Surf with the 1KZ-TE engine (KZN185) after looking at the photos and the gamble paid off. It bolted up to the firewall and to my OEM master cylinder without any modifications. This item does not have the pressure sensor that is part of the KZN185 Surf's booster but I left mine unplugged and there were no dash lights. Took about 30 minutes to install and performed well above expectations. Warning: There are some Surfs with a 4 bolt master cylinder. This item will not fit those vehicles.

Great alternative to the factor version at 1/4 the cost

The car is finally not a death machine and you can stop relatively easily. I took off one star because there is no mention of how to adjust the pedal connector. I wish the brakes were more sensitive and I wish I knew how to make that happen. Or maybe this brake booster is just a tad bit underpowered for the 4Runner. Incredible price though! And so easy to install.

arrived late but works great for 2000 Toyota 4runner

Took about an hour to install in our son’s 1998 Toyota 4Runner. Great price and quality. AutoZone and O’Reilly auto parts wanted $500 for the same part.

This break booster was the correct length and perfect fit on my 1997 forerunner limited. It arrived promptly and had a great price.

Installed about a month ago - easy install. It works - but definitely not like OEM quality. Worth the money to get you back on the road quickly - but not sure of the durability.
