It is ok for a small family. The thing is that no where else there is no mention of the instrument working in 110-120 v 60hz cycle in the description of th product and it is misleading in the case of Indian custemer. The descrption of the product is not apt for Indian custemers.

Worst product. Stopped working in 2 days
Very bad product. Stopped working in 2 days. There is no customer support available in India. Seller is not helpful at all. I would have given a negative rating if i could.

Good for light-duty disposing
Looks well made. Has an extender collar in the box with no obvious explanation on the package or in the instruction sheet or one the website. Process of elimination, it's for an alternate installation that doesn't apply to my sink. Much easier to lift into place and lock into the flange than the 1/2 horsepower unit I pulled out from under the sink. Had to adjust the PVC pipes to meet up with the disposer discharge pipe. About the same noise level as the larger disposer, but vibration when first installed was intense. One pipe connection shook loose and I had to tighten it down much more than I usually tighten PVC pipe threaded connections. After a month or so of intermittent use noise is about the same, vibration has much reduced, and the threaded connection is holding. I don't know why it vibrated when first installed and then settled down, but that's what it did.Compared to other 1/3 horsepower units this one looks better made. Priced much lower than any 1/2 horsepower disposer and big enough for the way I use a disposer. Works hard to digest half a lemon, so I just make an extra cut and feed it smaller pieces.

Perfect replacement
I bought this disposer to replace my old one that wore out the blades. It was an easy replacement and it's been running fine for over a year. Would purchase again.

Perfect fit
Easy to install. It was exactly like my old one that I replaced. It was not corded, but not a problem. I was able to use the electric cord from the old unit. It all went together perfectly and had it working in no time at all.

Poor feedback from tenant
Tenant said she had to force food into the disposal. I would suggest going with 1/2 hp at minimum

If you already have a GE disposall
I bought the GFC-320N (1/3hp). Prior I had the GFC530F (1/2hp). Since I already had the 530F, it was a breeze to install because everything is the same as the new 320N I bought. If you don't already have a GE disposall, or your don't have a disposal at all, you may need to get a plumber to fabricate the PVC parts to connect to the GE disposall and your existing plumbing under your sink.
