Awesome
I've been using General Hydroponics MaxiGro for several months in my hydroponic setups, and the results have been phenomenal. My plants exhibit vigorous growth, with lush, green foliage and robust root systems. The 10-5-14 nutrient ratio seems perfectly balanced for the vegetative stage, providing all the essential macro and micronutrients.Mixing the powder is straightforward—it dissolves easily in water, and the included measuring scoop ensures accurate dosing. I appreciate that it's a one-part nutrient solution, simplifying the feeding process without compromising on plant health. One thing to note is that it can lower the pH of the solution, so monitoring and adjusting pH levels might be necessary, depending on your water source. However, this is a minor consideration given the overall performance.RedditOverall, MaxiGro has become a staple in my gardening routine. It's cost-effective, easy to use, and delivers impressive results. I highly recommend it to both novice and experienced hydroponic gardeners.

Vigorous Growth mix is excellent nutrient for Kratky-style hydroponics
MaxiGro plant food for vigorous growth (2.2 lb)I've been using this for over a year now and love the results. I keep several 1-qt. Mason jars filled with this nutrient mix, and have had great results with kale and lettuce. Results have been so good that I won't plant either in my outdoor garden this year. Seriously, what would be the point? No bugs, no dirt, no heat issues; and the hydro results taste better than the in-dirt results.I mix one Tbs plus one tsp of nutrients to two gallons of FILTERED water in a clear plastic drinking water jug. I set the jug, covered with a towel to keep out light, on the table next to the Kratky jars. Every morning, I add enough nutrient to bring the level in each jar to the base of the seed basket. Done. The kale (both green and purple) is easily as big as anything I've grown in dirt, plus the leaves are so tender that I use them in place of lettuce for salads and sandwiches. The lettuce has a wonderful, real-lettuce flavor and the leaves are firm and strong, not the limp kind of leaves I find in the grocery store.Could not be happier with this product and will definitely reorder when needed.

Good quality
This thing really works. I used it to raise seedlings indoors and I will never use any other fertilizer to raise seedlings again if this product is still available. It performs wonders on peppers and tomatoes. Good thing is that you don't need a lot. A small bag lasts a while.

INCREDIBLE, but some slight kinks to work out...
Ok, I have a lot to say about this product, let me start with the good. A lot of the reviews I saw myself when purchasing this product talked about how amazing this plant food is, and how well their plants are doing. I had very similar results. I have a hydroponics setup with 36 basil plants growing, and they have absolutely exploded! I can't pick the basil fast enough! It has grown so fast that I have to plan dinners that involve a lot of it so it doesn't go to waste! After putting this nutrient solution powder into my hydroponic system, I got it professionally tested and it contained perfect amounts true to what plants need of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, and other macronutrients. It really couldn't be simpler and cheaper with this powder...Once you have gotten it right. Now let's get into the bad things about this product. When I first added this to my nutrient solution reservoir in my hydroponics system, I thought everything was going great (I had lettuce growing at the time). By the time the lettuce got bigger though, it started to wilt. I tested the PH of the water and realized that the nutrient solution plummetted the PH to below 4! I quickly raised the ph and found another problem after some time. The nutrient powder didn't dissolve well into the water! After months of tragic trial and error, I finally found a foolproof way to get this nutrient powder to work well. Here are some steps below:1. Make sure you buy a PH up solution because you will definitely need to raise the PH of the nutrient solution shortly after adding the powder.2. You may want to add a water circulator or wave machine into your nutrient solution reservoir to encourage the constant circulation of water and prevention of the build-up of the powder on the sides of the reservoir.3. Pre-dissolve the amount of powder you will need for your system in a little bit of hot water making sure to mix WELL. this will ensure that most of what's in the powder will be dissolved before you even pour the solution into your nutrient solution reservoir. If you follow these steps as I have, I'm certain you will have a better overall experience with this product, and you will get a higher yield from your plants. This one-step nutrient powder from general hydroponics is easy and I would recommend it...If you know how to do it properly.
