AmazonBasics Quick-Dry Bath Towels - 100% Cotton, Pack of 2, Platinum

After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned these towels, which had all the correct specs, high GSM, high absorbency, soft, fast drying, would flake on my skin like other reviewers are saying, but even around my prickly beard area the towel has lost zero fibers, and washes just fine without losing any colour.Just follow the instructions for washing on the labels, it isn't hard.

Lost a lot of color in the 1st wash but not after that. Light weight and dries quickly.Not a long lasting quality however.

As always, a quite decent product by amazon basics.Nothing too great about this one, just covers the "basic" quite well.

Water absorbency seems good but size is little bit small .... hence not in use frequently, else good.

These towels are soft to the touch but do not easily absorb water. They are more like those annoying microfiber towels which just seem to push water around without absorbing it. Worse, these towels shed as badly as a mangey dog! Blue (lake blue in my case) fluff all over my bath, body and face after using them. I took them and put them through the wash and not only was the wash water blue as ink but they left the washer and the dryer a mess of blue fluff which was a total pain to clean up. These towels should be labeled 'For decorative purposes only'.

Compré estas toallas porque tenía la intención de contar con un set de secado rápido para mi casa, algo tipo hotel. Por la descripción del producto, me llevé la impresión de que sería algo cercano a eso y no. Son simples, delgadas, de secado y absorbencia normal, nada del otro mundo. Encuentro toallas mejores y más baratas en el súper. Solo no las regreso porque se me hace de mal gusto devolver productos de higiene personal, pero una decepción.

Love these towels. They are soft, super absorbent and dry quickly. The last of these is very important to me because I suffer chronic pain, so in addition to my morning shower I often take a hot bath in the evenings. My regular towels were not able to fully dry when used twice a day. These do!As per other reviews, these do shed a little at first, but nothing like is implied in other reviews. Perhaps construction has been improved??And the towels are somewhat thinner than other towels, but I'd imagine this is an important part of the quick-dry aspect. I do not find the thinness to be any kind of issue. In fact they take up slightly less space in my linen closet, which is great!

Yes they're thick and soft...when you first get them. I washed mine as soon as they arrived,.just a habit of mine...and took them out of the washing machine and fluff everywhere!! For the price, they shouldn't do that. I have bought many towels in my day and never had an issue like this. The **fluff** is suppose to stay on the towels, not me,my floor and inside my washing machine. Terrible Amazon, just terrible. I also noticed they're made in India. All my other towels were made Canada. Since I have washed them, I am guessing it would be useless trying to get a refund ? I would've taken a picture but didn't think of it until after I cleaned up all the **fluff**.

I purchased this towel because the review was good, price was right and it was prime shipping. I like color, it is soft, I washed many times but it is still good quality. One thing I want to mention is this towel leaves crazy amount of lint in the dryer. On the first couple washes, i was surprised how much lint it created. I have been using it more than a few months, it still leaves so much lint. Other than that, I’m happy with my purchase.
