A local organization is hosting a special event at a recreated old west town setting and needs some "extras" dressed in period outfits to make the atmosphere feel more authentic. This skirt will be part of my costume. I placed the order late on Friday evening and received it by Tuesday morning! Fantastic !!!I am absolutely thrilled by it: the quality is excellent and the length is perfect (at 5'2" that is not always the case). I did ordered it bigger than my normal size which came out great as well since it can be gathered some at the waist also. The skirt fits great, it feels wonderful (like a cloud) and looks amazing. The lining makes it feel so luxurious. I do not have a picture since the outfit is not yet complete. I am so looking forward to the event when I can show off this beautiful skirt!

Very nice skirt to create an outfit! Love the material, it is quite comfortable! Wore it all day twice already at a Charles Dickens event and for a Vintage Train Station event! If you are on the fence about sizing go smaller - I ordered a XXL but could have gone with an XL I think.

I didn't realize this at first, but the skirt is adjustable to create the gathered effect. There are fabric strings underneath the first layer. Fit-wise, it's true to size. I ordered a L, and I normally wear a 12 or 14 in skirts. Length-wise, I'm 5'11", and it came down to my ankles. Kind of an awkward length, but cute enough for a Western-themed event. I put a crinoline underneath to give it more volume. This was a huge hit at a Western themed event.

Other reviews convinced me to buy and I’m so glad I did. Great quality for price. Fabric is lined well but overall light and flows beautifully. I bought a size large. It’s up on my waist and I generally am a size 10/12. I’m 5’2.75” but you can just see my toes and it doesn’t drag while I walk. I don’t mind the elastic on the front, but I can see how it could interfere with a tight, thin top. The stretch is just right to fit well, but not too tight or loose. Overall super glad I bought it.

I wear 1800 style clothing for my work and this skirt absolutely met all my expectations and then some!!!For me, I like1. the perfect length; it slightly covers my boots.2. The elastic band; offers comfortable flexibility for physically demanding work. (And for weight gain or loss)3.The pin striped pattern; goes with any blouse or apron.4.Material; soft and cool for hotter months! Feels wonderful inside and out!Excellent! I ordered a size up to get the right fit and it was too long. I was disappointed because it is a very nice skirt. I am 5’4” and 250 lbs. it was snug around the waist but I could have still worn it if it were not so long. I normally wear 2x or size 20. For this I ordered a 3x
