Tastes good!
So Easy to prepare! Simply put one cup beans in a bowl add a little over a cup water and toss in the microwave. Reminds me of taco bell bean burrito beans. Easy to store back in gallon zip lock bag. Good quality, quick and easy.

Great Product! You can make as much or as little as you like, and they are easily storable!
We love these beans! We know people in NM who use these beans in their restaurants. They are fast and easy for us to use. We like the texture and taste! They are so easy to store! Lightweight and long storage! These cost quite a bit more than what we can buy them in NM for, but they are worth the extra money when we are out of them!

Tasted good but made me fart a lot.... a LOT
Pretty much what I expected, except that the dried bits were a lot more 'bean shaped' than I am used to... I was expecting shredded flakes based on my previous experience. But we crossed our fingers and headed off into the woods with these and they did not disappoint. Tasty and well.... they're beans. What else do you want?

FINALLY!!!
I have searched for YEARS to find refried beans similar to the ones used at Taco Bell. I made my annual Google search longing for the perfect dupe and saw a reddit post to get these so I did. Oh my god. I’m so ecstatic!! I love how smooth and inoffensive they are. They’re seasoned with salt and lard and that’s it. They taste just like the Taco Bell beans. I didn’t follow the instructions I just dumped a taco size looking portion in a bowl and covered with hot water. I mixed and let stand until they cooled and they were perfect.

Add extra water to the amount you want, they will absorb a lot.
Very delicious! Adding some bacon dripping to the beans really made them extra special.

Quick and convenient
Super quick, easy and convenient way to have refried beans, whether you want to make just one serving or feed a crowd. Price comes out to about 85 cents per serving, which is cheaper than getting canned refried beans, which are usually about a dollar a serving (2 servings per $2 can). People talk about getting it cheaper at a restaurant supply store, but look, if you have Amazon Prime you get free shipping and you don't have to buy in bulk. This is suitable for any recipe calling for refried beans, and it's seasoned only with salt, so you can add in as little or as much of the spicier ingredients if you want. Doesn't take up much shelf space, either. For me, it's ideal. It's the real beans.

Family favorite
These are a family favorite and I buy them every few months. I love being able to just make a small portion for taco night or larger portions when I have family over. It's easy to make, just add boiling water. Much cheaper buying it this way than the smaller packs at the grocery store. Tastes just like resturant style refried beans!
