Garmin Auto Suction Cup Mount with Speaker

Use in tub, works great, exactly what I wanted.

Really makes my Montana a great navigation device for my off road vehicles. With the power connection and speaker, I like using this for navigation better than using my nuvi. If you are going to use your Montana in the car, on or off road, this is essential because otherwise your batteries will go dead over the course of a day. Also, running off batteries will not give you as much screen brightness as on the car battery power. I love this solution for my back roads, trails, and highway. I never have to worry about dead batteries, and I can take the Montana out of the car when I am hiking and the batteries are always charged and ready to go.2/17/2016 Update: I have read several reviews where they say the suction cup isn't strong enough to hold the Montana unit. I have experienced a few times when mine dropped off, but it has either been the fault of a dirty windshield or a dirty suction cup. Whenever I wash the windshield and the suction cup with cleaner, then rinse them both with water and let them dry, I get great adhesion. I use my Montana on some of the roughest Jeep trails Utah has to offer, and as long as I use my routine, the GPS stays put. In fact, I think I will buy another mount so I won't have to switch the mount to my other vehicles as often.

This Garmin car mount for my Montana GPS works perfectly. It mounts easily and quickly to the windshield and the speakers are loud and clear. I'm not thrilled in general with the high battery usage of the Montana GPS which is another reason I love this device -- it plugs into the 12 Volt power source in the car and actually charges the battery. The only improvement would be to include a carrying case.

Completely satisfied in every way. Suction cup holds well on Jeep JK nearly vertical windscreen even off road. Wiring seems of pretty good quality. Only complaint would be that it is pricey in my opinion. 5 stars otherwise.

An excellent cradle, but since it is for an off-road vehicle, the choice of a suction mount is strange. A screw down base would be much better. Why Ram chose a ¾" ball is also puzzling. Most serious off-roaders already have 1" ball bases in their vehicles and a variety of arms to go with them. The simple cradle is in Ram's traditional design with the 1" ball, but it is difficult to fit the power cord into the cradle. Neither unit is completely satisfactory.

These days many vehicles have nav built in, I keep a Montana GPS as backup when I overland, this mount makes it usable in the vehicle at full brightness all day long. The GPS doesn't rock excessively over bumps and the suction cup works well for holding it on the windshield. Does exactly what they advertise.

I have a 650t and this said it supported it, but not. It was for some other country then the U.S. My unit didn't have a connection port that matched the cable in the package. Even the packaging did not have English on it. Disappointed that I paid $50+ for only the holder, which I needed.

I bought this as a gift for my hunting buddy. He has been using it for about a month and has no complaint. It hasn’t been used much on rough roads though so we will be curious to see if the suction cup will hold it to the window. He had the problem of it not being within eye sight and with it bouncing out of his cup holders. And this should fix that as long as it stays in the window on extremely rough roads.
